This property is a true gem. Our apartment looked over a canal with gondolas passing by regularly... gorgeous!! The location was top notch. Grazie (our host) was super helpful and made our check in and check out very easy. She even recommended a few great restaurants that we tried and loved. The place was air conditioned (a huge bonus in July in Venice). I cannot say enough about this property. You have to stay here if given the opportunity!!

Residence Corte Grimani is an excellent location if you want to be close to everything but yet have quiet at night. Vanessa is an amazing host who makes you feel very welcome and goes out of her way to tell you all about Venice including great recommendations for places to see and eat. We will definitely return. Depending on where you get off the water bus, directions may be a little hard to follow to find the hotel. Staff is great and quick to reply with WhatsApp though. Apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay.

This property was amazing. Location, location, location. 5 minute walk to Rialto Bridge, 5 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Restaurants and shopping all around you as well as a grocery store. The unit had a full kitchen, living area, bedroom. Vanessa was awesome!! There was nothing about this place we didn't like. Thanks Vanessa for making our stay so special! Jocelyne & Don O.

Great location. If I am honest, would not have bothered me if that was the expectation Going in, but what Expedia suggested was available at the hotel and what was there where very different, so it caught us by a bit of a surprise. For e.g. there was no air conditioner or self serve laundry etc. It wasn’t bad, but I think the hotel admin and Expedia should sync and correct the info. We would have changed plans / packed differently if we were aware.

excellent location

This hotel is a in a main area and close to everything. We felt safe and booked a family room as we had four adults in our group. The main bedroom was nice and great bedding but the sofa bed my kids had to use was old and the mattress sank into the middle. They did have a laundry machine in the suite which was great but it takes 3 hrs to do 1 load and it can't be used at night. Otherwise staff was helpful and nice bathroom facilities were good and would stay here again.

Good Stay

The front desk was very helpful and provided great recommendations on where to eat. The residence was located in the heart of Venice and is walkable distance to St. Mark's Square and many shopping boutiques. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious for 3 people. We enjoyed our short stay in Venice very much.

Great location, great staff, great room

We were a family of 5 in a beautiful room. We wanted to be close to St Marks Square and were willing to pay the premium. This hotel did not disappoint on any front. Fantastic location, great and helpful staff, wonderful room, etc. The note about extra charges for using the kitchen concerned us but it turned out fine. There is no charge unless you're going to cook - our coffee, basic kitchen use (glasses, cups, water) re all included. Have already recommended it to friends.

Corte Grimani: Hard to Find but Worth the Search

My family and I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Grimani in Venice. As is often the case in Venice, it was a bit of a challenge actually FINDING the hotel. However, once located, it turned out to be an amazing place. The staff (especially the gentleman who manned the front desk at night) was extremely helpful with all our questions. The room was clean and luxurious. Air conditioning made it a nice oasis after a long day exploring the city and surrounding islands. Piazza San Marco is a 3 to 5 minute walk away. Overall, a bit on the pricey side but worth the money.

Outstanding but...

This is an outstanding hotell in a truly exceptional location. The room is large, clean and cool on the hottest of Venice's August days. The unit is well equipped and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I have one complaint, it's the way that they nickel and dime you. It is quite expensive to stay in the unit and then they try squeeze you for every last penny. The unit has a washer/dryer but it costs 15 euros to use it. The unit has a kitchen but they lock everything away and if you want to use it, they charge a 50 euro cleaning fee. Pretty bush league for a top notch inn.
