Mostly everyone here at the hotel is very friendly, kind and polite. Very efficient and get things done quickly. The hotel is very well located which helps with the challenging traffic in Bogota. We are enjoying our staying so far with our family. There is a tiny chapel and daily there’s a mass at 11:30am which is very nice and convenient if you want to join. If you are here to see family the hotel makes things easier for everyone. People at the Italian restaurant are very professional and friendly. The food is amazing. Breakfast is good too. Thanks to everyone for making things easier for us. We really enjoyed staying here.

The outside buildings(outside)and landscapes are amazing. Unfortunately the rooms are very updated and dirty. We had to move to another room because the stove didn’t work. The overall condition of the rooms was not acceptable.

Interesting architecture with beautiful courtyards and clean, quiet rooms with lots of friendly staff who speak English. Security present at all times and special taxi fleet on site.

Great for family

The apartments are great for family, with beautiful gardens and a kids play area. Breakfast is included and is typical Colombian big breakfast, which is delicious, esp. Chocolate drink. Reasonably priced for really high end service and facilities.

Everything was phenomenal!

Rooms, excellent. Rooftop private jacuzzi, excellent. Breakfast buffet, excellent. Service, excellent. Laundry, room service, concierge, excellent. Location, excellent. The hotel was big and open unlike many hotels in Bogota. It was surrounded by green areas (parks). It's pet friendly. The apartments are very comfortable and updated. The lobby is very elegant. Their taxi service was helpful and prices reasonable. Best hotel we've ever stayed in. Seriously

Excellent Bogota Hotel

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 2 years. The apartments are large and clean. The overall amenities of the hotel are good. Staff speak english and are very helpful. The location is I believe relatively safe. Distance is a little far to tourist areas, but taxis are cheap. It is also possible to negotiate a very good rate for day tours (in and out of city) thru their private taxi staff. Parque 93 and Zona Rosa, & Zona T are all close.

Estelar Apartamentos - good location, good value

Estelar Apartamentos are attached to the lovely Hotel Fontana, one of Bogota's older, more established 5 star hotels. We enjoyed our stay very much and hotel staff was helpful. We did find, however that some rooms are quite noisy (those facing Avda 15 or Calle 127) esp. as windows, doors don't always closey tightly and traffic in Bogota is loud (esp. from 4:30 am onwards). This was an issue for us as we have young children. Suggest you request an apartment facing the plazaleta. These seem to be better maintained and fully equipped (others were missing basic kitchen equipment such as coffee makers and can openers). You may have to argue and insist that they fully equip your apartment - Not unfair considering the price and the 5 star rating.

Very well maintained grounds and courtyard

The hotel staff willing to speak to you in English and friendly. The rooms were very clean with a nice seating area, the the bedroom was nice. The cleaning staff came once a day to clean the bathroom and also cleaned the kitchen. Would return to this hotel.

Spanish (please translate) El hotel es uno bueno pero muy aburrido. La seguridad muy estricta, te hacen sentir que estas en una carcel con tanta pregunta y miradas, se siente como que desconfian de todo. Si no estas muy bien vestido te comienzan a mirar con sospecha y se comunican entre ellos para velarte. Se dejan llevar mucho por las apariencias de la vestimenta Es un hotel donde claramente el trato hacia un turista de placer versus uno de negocios es muy notable, te hospedan en apts. y otros en el hotel, te diferencian hasta de donde vas a desayunar, si en el rest. grande o en Los Rosales q es mucho mas limitado en menu y pequeño para los no ejecutivos o de negocios. Si no utilizas de sus taxis (q son el doble de caro que uno regular y utilizas alguno de afuera o un Uber no lo dejan entrar para recogerte ni dejarte en la entrada del lobby de la fuente, porque disque no hay una conseción u arreglo con ellos (o sea q se joda el turista en las afueras, y si esta lloviendo ni les importa). Hasta el maletero mira mal si es un taxi o Bus feo y sucio el q llega, aqui todo es es imagen. Cuando he ido de negocios por la empresa es tan distinto, opté por hospedarme con mi pareja de aniversario y fue muy incomodo.

Safe close to many activities and all the staff ready to assist at all times. Suggest better ways to guide visitors around the property. Area is large and confusing at times to go from place to place, place visible exit signs to assist in case of an emergency!
