The room was very nice except for the shower - a shower curtain for privacy would have been ideal as the shower had glass walls that showed in the bedroom and bathroom. No one offered to make up the room either and we were there for 3 nights. We stayed during the week and didn’t realize that the restaurant was only open Thursday- Sunday. Otherwise our stay was very nice.

The suites are individually owned, so it appears we unfortunately got one whose owners aren't big into upkeep or supplies. Cooking and dining supplies were very lacking and the tiny patio set was literally falling apart. The two couches had very "suggestive" stains on them and were in dire need of a steam clean. Extra bedding was worn out and stained. The resort itself though was fabulous, and we'd definitely stay again, but in a different unit.

My family booked a two bedroom townhouse in February for a 10 night stay April 8-18.. We arrived later in the day after a long flight from Canada and we were assigned unit 81. We found the room to be dirty, with stained bedspreads and curtains. There was a large bug splatter on the wall in the main bedroom. The lounge set was old and stained and based on what we could see it made us question the cleanliness of what we couldn't see. Overall the unit had a wornout and tired look to it, unlike the photos on the expedia entry.. The unit also had a large window in the ensuite which provided a view from the master bedroom into the tub and toilet facilities. We went to reception to see about changing the unit based on cleanliness and this window with a view. I noticed while we were waiting that our unit was advertised for sale (which perhaps explained why the unit was in such a wornout state). Many of the units are individually owned so there is a variance in the state of the units. After having the unit inspected reception was able to find us another unit (84 ) with the same floor plan and the difference between the units was like night and day. The 2nd unit had been updated with newer furniture and appliances and was spotlessly clean. The glass window in the ensuite had even been replaced with frosted glass. We were grateful that reception could find us this alternate accommodation since the first unit was so disappointing and the rest of our stay was terrific.

Ivory Palms is a beautiful resort with 3 swimming pools, 5 bbqs, games room and playground for children. Our only disappointment was the internet or lack there of. Listing states free wifi but in actuality it is not free. You receive 500mg for 7 days...we used ours in 2 days and had to purchase. Very inconvenient as I work via internet. This needs to be addressed by Expedia and hotel. Very misleading and disappointing. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Nice Noosa hotel

Decent location, and good sized rooms. Didn't really use the amenities or kids club - costs too much. Wifi signal was very poor, and the 500 Meg limit made it basically unusable. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!

Wir haben uns sehr auf unsere Zeit im Ivory Palms Resort gefreut. Doch nach unserem Check-in (freundliche Dame an der Rezeption) waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Warum? Weil zwar auf den ersten Blick alles sehr hübsch ausgesehen hat. Bei genauerer Betrachtung hingegen fällt auf, dass das Appartement bereits etwas abgewohnt ist. Das eigentlich Schlimme war jedoch der Schmutz: Schmutziges Geschirr, schmutzige Schubladen innen, schmutzige Sofakissen, schmutziger Balkon, schmutzige Regale ... und besonders ekelhaft ... ein völlig verdreckter, fettiger 2-Platten-Herd, an dem noch Speisereste klebten. Unserem Wunsch, diesen auszutauschen oder zu reinigen, kam man zügig nach (wurde einigermaßen gereinigt). Das gesamte Kücheninventar hingegen haben wir selbst erst mal gereinigt, weil es so unappetitlich war. Sehr schade, da die Wohnung bei sorgfältiger Pflege und Instandhaltung einen tollen Aufenthalt bieten kann.

Whilst the facilities and location of Ivory Palms was fantastic, our stay was let down by the actual unit. It was tired and lacked some basics. Simple things like extra cutlery, a proper flipper and chopping board would go a long way. The lounges were very dated, dirty, stained and uncomfortable. It was evident that vacuuming doesn't always happen under the lounges and beds. There was no vacuum available in the unit. The shower bathroom was dated was missing the shower door and so water often drenched the floor. The water pipes make an awful bang when flushing the toilet and using the washing machine. Besides this we are returning visitors because we love the facilities and location with several cafes a stroll away. We hope to be back soon.

Jedes Apartment hat einen eigenen Besitzer, daher gibt es auch Unterschiede hinsichtlich der Einrichtung und Gestaltung der Apartments. Unser Apartment verfügte über eine Küchenzeile und wir hatten einen Pool direkt vor unserem Balkon. Zudem hatten wir eine Garage für unser Auto und es gab eine Waschmaschine.
