Located in a quiet corner of La Defence. The metro was only a 10 minute walk. Many restruants and small grociery stores nearby including La Defence Arch Square. The breakfast was wonderful.

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. The building is worn out and in serious need of maintenance. When we arrived, we were told the elevator was out of service, and the staff just said, “We’re not responsible,” with no help at all. What saved the situation was the amazing hotel manager. He noticed how upset I was, and immediately ran down to the garage and carried our luggage himself. The 3 stars are only for the manager’s professionalism and kindness. The hotel itself is old, poorly maintained, and lacking in basic guest service.

We were there for 4 nights. The location was a lot further away from public transport than expected. The a/c didn’t work properly, we were given a fan that only moved hot air around. The hall carpet was dirty and worn The elevator security system didn’t work properly and we were told to keep trying. Most of the front desk staff were abrupt and not very helpful.

No mention anywhere on Expedia or hotel website about security deposit. Meant we could not go out for any meals and turned what was supposed to be an enjoyable trip into one where we had to count our pennies very carefully.

The hotel staff was overall okay, but not particularly friendly, some were noticeably unhelpful. The room didn’t match the photos: chipped paint, missing drapes, not very clean. There was a dead bug in the bathroom corner and long black hair in the sink. Had to ask for basic supplies like toilet paper. The laundromat situation left a bad taste, no refund for unused coins, and staff seemed afraid of the bald manager, who refused to help. Overall, the experience was just over okay, but it left a bad taste in the mouth.
