Needed to be near the hospital

The staff was excellent and so helpful to me during my stay as a family memeber was in nearby hospital. Amazing service and property to spend a longer stay in.

Seclusion in Barcelona

Lovely overnight stopping place for a flight out of Barcelona. The location is at least one km from anything like a lively neighbourhood.

Spent the night in car, because no late check in.

We could not check in at the hotel because there was no reception when we arrived for late. I tried calling but there was no answer either. We were forced to spend the night in the car. I never had such a bad experience with no late check in and I wish to request for a refund.

Free shuttle to city centre and airport.

While the hotel is outside the main touristy area the free shuttle is a great amenity. For those who want to be in the middle of things, this hotel is not for you. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

Out of the way ... but still connected

Well kept apartment hotel, located next to the very luxurious tower hotel. Buffet breakfast was available to us at reduced rate ... and was delicious, including the best coffee I've had in ages!! Located at one end of the subway line, but an easy 25 minute ride into the city centre. Surrounding neighborhood gave us a great taste of the local residents' life, felt safe at all hours. Tower front desk staff very friendly and responsive ... a question about room temperature resulted in an almost immediate visit to resolve our issue. This was the only apartment we stayed in during our trip ... having a kitchen and a grocery store nearby was a nice alternative to restaurants. Only one suggestion for improvement ... small dish soap and dish towels in the room would help greatly.

I wanted hotel away from city which this is

The suite itself is not in the mainstay hotel; however, I liked this better. The breakfast for what you paid for was probably the best that I had in any of the European cities I visited (7) during my stay.

Pleasant, decent priced apart-hotel suites

I stayed at the apart-hotel suites next door to the main tower of this hotel. They were clean and modern and fairly spacious with some minor equipment glitches. The hotel is not really close to anything except the university hospital. Very good privacy. I had a hell of a time finding a place within walking distance for an early breakfast, ending up in a huge truck terminal area which has good workers restaurants. Good home base for Barcelona- llobregat area, if you have a car, or are able to take metro transit.

Very excellent accomodations but very very far

The room was very good, one of the largest on my Euro Trip. However, the location was very very very far from downtown Barcelona even though the metro station is about a 5 minute walk away.
