Excellent resort

We loved this resort. Quiet, safe and very efficient. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The suites had everything you need. Loved the full sized washer and dryer.

All I can say is, WOW! Our family of 5, (my husband and myself, my 21 year old daughter, 18 year old son and 1 year old son) stayed over the Christmas Break and loved ever minute of our stay. The resort is amazing. The food at La Maria was fantastic and well priced. The pools had different temperatures so even if it was cool out we could enjoy them. The beach is perfect. Can't wait to go back again!

Pool and beach areas are beautiful but the property has no vibe. Very limited dining. No store or lobby bar with music or anything. No landscaping. A sterile concrete hotel. The area around the hotel is construction and garbage, like many places in Mexico. The staff were very nice and accommodating. That all being said, the price was right for sure. We stayed in a 3 bedroom. It was modern and spacious with a fantastic view and had all the amenities inside. Beds were very comfortable. A few things were broken like one TV. A remote was missing. Some lights were burnt out. The ceiling fans were unbalanced and noisy but the air conditioning worked well and all the appliances except the wine fridge worked. Nothing major was wrong just minor things. It took a while to figure out the hot and cold was backwards in the showers. All in all great value and we would come back.

Likes: the spaciousness of the rooms, the restaurants had good food at a good price point, all rooms had ocean views, and the wait staff at all the restaurants were very good. Dislikes: housekeeping left something to be desired, no communication from the resort as to what pool heaters were working and where construction/repairs of pools would be taking place. Likewise, for a place that is tailored for families, there really should be a kid’s pool. The check-in process is inordinately long, unfriendly, and pretentious. Obtaining and returning towels at the pools was extremely bureaucratic process that I never want to experience again and would bring my own towels, just to avoid the process.

Very nice

Very nice, spacious and clean. Only issue is I have two pending charges on my credit card and reception isn’t sure what they’re for? Hopefully it’s just a hold but the charges are both ranging from 100-200$. Floor could be more clean but other than that very beautiful.

This place has next to no amenities in it. Even if you wanted to head down to the pool bar, it's not open after 8! They also close the pools at an equally ridiculous time when you compare to many other places in Mexico or Arizona. If you want to stay out and chat on your patio on a Saturday night, there's a good chance someone will call and complain about you even if it's before 10p. The place was relatively clean but we had lights, locks and beds that were broken which somewhat cancels the good out. Overall, it was fine but i expected a lot more. Luckily the company I had was good, I just don't see myself promoting this place to anyone anytime soon.

The room they put us in needed some work. The faucet on the kitchen was broke off literally. The filter water would only drip out and the bathroom faucets hot water handle didn’t work. We had maintenance come and they literally super glued the faucet back in. Water comes out but you can not swivel it. The next guest may try to swivel it and it will break off again. The view was perfect the weather was amazing! It’s low season so not much was open around. The coffee shop was and was fantastic!!!
