The property is well located, clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. The only negative, was persons/staff knocking at the door when the privacy notification was given.

Overall great, but little annoying quirks

Overall great - book one night initially and extended to 3 night total. Had great sleeps & the concrete walls are very soundproof, so was very quiet and comfortable! The only small thing to say was that the wifi cut in and out a few times which was annoying (and didn’t work at all the morning of check out but the receptionist roped us out by letting us use his phone internet!! And another slightly annoying thing was that the kitchenette doesn’t have any soap, clothes or sponge and the housekeeping didn’t wash the dishes so he ended up having to wash them with shampoo and out hands... not ideal!

Enormous. Modern. Close to tram. 10 easy minutes from the hustle n bustle of Bordeaux. Quiet, friendly university neighbourhood. Comfy bed, good shower. Soundproof doors n windows. Exactly as advertised.

Functional Hotel, Very Comfortable

The hotel is very functional. We must have had the best room in the hotel (fifth (top) floor) with a wrap around balcony. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel and the room amenities (small stove top, fridge, sink, great shower, etc etc.) are great if you're looking for a base to travel and visit different wineries and downtown Bordeaux.

Beautiful Place

I read the review before booking this hotel. Well take time to read my review. I am very picky that's why I often read the review which is often accurate. This hotel is brand new, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The surrouding are beautiful, step out of the hotel across the street and you are in a gorgeous park. As well a few restaurant and bakery with walking distance. The supermarket also is near by for grocery shopping if you desire to cook for yourself or are on the jetlag like I was, in the gorgeous suite that I rented was a little kitchenette and a beautiful terrasse. I was awake in a middle of the night and did not have to worry about finding an open place to eat. And I did cook for myself. Also I need to mentioned that it is a quiet place where one can sleep all you want. You also can take the LRT just across the street from the hotel that takes you pretty much anywhere you want to go. Downtown for 1.50 Euros and you may also use the same ticket to take a tour on the canal by boat. Now regarding the welcome, the staff is very professional and very helpful. All in all I was not bother to give my credit card number as I paid all my reservation on line. I check in and out and it went pretty smooth and worry free. Now they offer breakfast buffet as well, I have not had a chance to try but it is there if you desire. All I can say, It is a 10 out of 10 for me and trust me I am a traveler, I travel for work around the world and this one is in my book. Thank you Staff

WOW!

WE LOVED OUR STAY HERE. The staff is super friendly. While it is like 5-6 km from the center city of Bordeaux, the tram is only 250m from the hotel which will bring you downtown in 20 min. Across the street is Parc Peixotto, which has a palace / château, fountain, lake, caroussel, beautiful flowers. A campus of the University of Bordeaux is 250 m away. Along the main street are a few eateries, a laundromat, and Casino Grocery store 500 m away. At the same location as the store is the bus stop to return to the train station. The hotel room is impeccable. NEW, only opened in Dec. 2016. The lush towels still had lint on them. The room is very modern, spacious with a polish cement wall. A great bed and linens, a Spa shower, a kitchenette where we ate breakfast and supper. It had one set of cutlery, drinking glasses, plates, pots and pan but no cooking utensils. Not easy to flip an omelette with a fork. Plenty of storage space. Bottom line- WE REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS AMAZING for the type of travellers we are. Would stay here in a heartbeat!
