Great quiet location

I loved this place. Our host was really friendly, checking in was a breeze, great room with a comfy bed and everything we needed. Quiet location and Cradle Mountain was only about a 20-30 minute drive away. One thing to note is that the only cell provider in the area is Telstra but it wasn't an issue. My girlfriend and I picked up a Telstra SIM card in nearby town Sheffield and we were good to go. I would definitely recommend this place.

The location was great near to cradle mountain and caves. Local wildlife was also good. The cottage needs a bit more light in the kitchen, there is only one light for kitchen dining and living area. One light in the kitchen area would help with meal preparation and dishwashing.

Although the property is older we were happy to discover the bathroom was brand new and the property was clean and well appointed with everything you would need eg cooking equipment, wine glasses etc. Being in amongst the forest and the trees and seeing the local wildlife was really lovely. We could only stay one night but I would have liked to have stayed longer. Not super close to Cradle Mountain but fine if you have a car.

Very comfortable accommodation in lovely setting 30 mins drive from Cable Mountain. Well provided kitchen. Hot showers. Comfortable settee. Large screen tv. All we could ask for - just sorry our stay wasnt longer! Saw echidna and pademelon.

This bush accommodation has all you need for your stay. It’s quiet and 30 minutes drive from any sort of shop. The property is in partly cleared forest and the small wallabies and rabbits are very close in the twilight times.

It was a lovely big, warm home. The cleaners didnt clean the bath so there was a big ring around the inside and there was only one flannel for 4 of us. Apart from that it was a lovely location with everything we needed

Lovely ALPINE experience ... including moss covered gum trees and small wallabies (Palemelons) bouncing around the lawns. Well presented kitchen ( nearest IGA Sheffield so buy your supplies 1st ). Well heated. Good Telstra coverage ... for those wilderness people addicted to their devices 😀

Property was very private & great for a relax. Kitchen was very well appointed although a few microwave dishes would have made cooking dinner a bit easier. Cottage does require a bit of love in regards to a paint & deep clean.

Lovely location, tranquil and well maintained property. Not too far drive to Cradle Mountain and all the great walks in the area. Well stocked for cooking your breakfast (eggs, bacon, tomato, bread for toasting, yum!) Bring your own provisions for cooking dinner as the villa provides pretty well all utensils needed.
