At Pinestead Reef Resort, relax by an indoor pool or hit the private sand beach where you can enjoy volleyball. The location of this property and the waterfront view of the room was breathtaking. The hotel seemed full but quiet and there is easy access to the beach. The one bedroom suite was lovely with full kitchen and large living area. The room was quite warm despite attempts to adjust the thermostats, but it may have been user error. It is worth noting that the front desk is only staffed until midnight. We were arriving late and tried to call several times with no answer and made it just in time.

Right on the beach just a few miles east of Traverse City, the location is ideal - mostly. It does back onto a very busy road, but the traffic noise is manageable by closing windows. Unit is spacious, furnishings and decor are somewhat dated and could use a deep cleaning (vents, curtains, etc.). We loved the ability to make some of our own meals and you can’t beat the bay-view.

Loved this hotel!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in! Room was spacious and clean. Had everything we needed in it! Staff were very nice and friendly, even kept the pool open layer just for us! The view from the room was breathtaking!! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We come up for a Trevor city event every year, and this is where we always choose to stay! Love this place, the staff is always friendly and location is perfect. Rooms are very comfortable and the view is amazing.

Bridget at front desk was very helpful. Hotel/Rooms could be updated but had everything you needed. Clean rooms and very spacious. Best views from balcony that was very large and on waterfront. Easy access to walk the beach and indoor pool. Wish we could get a last minute deal price this summer! We would stay for a Week!
