We loved our stay here! The room was huge, almost like an apartment, with everything that we needed. We had a deck with a view of the ocean, there was a pool and a hot tub, there were games and activities and it was easy to get around. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room rate was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again!

Best two nights that we have in a Beach Resort

Started with allowing us to check in early,very friendly and informative front desk help.beautiful villa room with well maintained facilities . All residents and guest were very friendly. We hop to return soon. Thank-you very much.

Great hotel on the beach

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The views are spectacular! Resort amenities are first rate - there are enough deck chairs for everyone, daily activities, pool, whirlpool and a tiki bar with great drink prices. Our room could have done with some updating, especially the bed. Strangely, we had a door in the bathroom leading to a hallway with only a keyed lock. Not too secure. Overall, very good value for the money and recommended.

Staff was helpful and friendly, unit was well maintained. Good parking, close to needed services. Beach access from hotel is great. Nice having a balcony overlooking the beach. Good appliances. Note for anyone who wants/needs fresh air; windows don't open. Very pleasant stay.

Not so Royal

We booked a 2 bedroom condo 3 months in advance and we were given a parking lot view. The room we were initially assigned to did not exist. After searching for it, we went back downstairs (only 2 dirty elevators, very slow) to tell the attendant we couldn't find the room. She realized her error and wrote down the correct number. Once in our room, the connecting door was locked. Had to go back down one more time to get this unlocked. They never cleaned the room during our 4 night stay. We must bring our dirty towells to the front desk to get fresh ones. Our bed was old and very dirty behind it. The linens are sub standard. Old bed spread cover the bed. I am not certain how often these get washed. Our windows did not open. The noise was loud on the concrete hallway outside our doors.The indoor pool is tiny and crowded and really uninviting. The hot tub was worse. Overall not very Royal at all. I would not stay there again.

The Royal Floridian was perfect and every way I took my family and our three boys down there for a week vacation and it was just absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and just so nice and right on the beach. It was just wonderful. already planning to return next year to make it a family vacation every year

Family time.

We were looking for a place to stay before we go on our cruise. We like to come down a few days early and wanted something different from Port Canaveral. A friend recommended Ormond Beach and I found Royal Floridian on Hotels.com. Our stay was awesome and we will hopefully return soon.

Stayed here for our trip to Welcome to Rockville in Daytona. We had a blast and loved our room. Every morning, we got to watch the sun rise on the beach from our balcony and even got to see the dolphins. The entire hotel was clean and well kept. I hope to stay here every time we come to the area! So conveniently located and in such a quiet, nice area.
