My stay was good. The hotel is close to food and public transport. Sal’s New York pizza was close by and well worth it! You could only go to your floor on the elevator, normally would be fine but my friend had hurt her back and I couldn’t go to her level.

Location was ok but should have stayed closer to the middle of the CBD. General cleanliness was poor. Air conditioning was only in the main area of the room which made the bedroom very stuffy and hot. Wouldn’t stay again.

The Oaks Melbourne on Lonsdale is not the latest/greatest building, but is an excellent place to stay in a great location for transport, dining, bars, and cultural sites. Cooking and washing/ironing facilities were handy and used daily. The views from our 24th floor apartment were amazing.

The oaks on Lonsdale was situated in a very good location, close to the tram stop, station, theatre district, dining areas and shopping area. Our one bedroom was spacious and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay.
