The hotel’s location is very central. Just steps away from all major landmarks. The apartment was huge, with living room facing a very noisy street with lots of restaurants and the bedroom facing quieter courtyard (which helped enormously). If you plan to do your own cooking be prepared to walk some 10 min to nearest grocery stores. The kitchen had all basic stuff one needs. The floors were almost entirely carpeted. Big bathroom. The laundry machine didn’t do a good job for us, leaving half of the load barely wet, let alone clean. The stay was overall very nice, and the price was really good for what we got. Would recommended!

We had a great time while staying at Aparthotel Munzgasse. All the museums are close by. A rail station is just a view streetcar stops away. If we are back to Dresden we will stay there again.

Property has a great location, walking distance of major attractions. The apartment has very good space and furniture. In our trip to Germany for different cities we found that customer service attitude it is not as high as in USA or Canada and this apart-hotel is not much different. When arrived, I noticed there was no air condition in the apartment nor fan or ventilators. Day temperature those days was above 30 Celsius. I arrived at 10:30 pm so when asking the receptionist about getting some ventilators she mentioned it was to late for that. The following day I complained to the receptionist who did not received me with a very friendly attitude. However, that day I received 2 ventilators that she was able to find for me. This was the only hotel in my 3 weeks trip through Italy, Austria, Check Republic, and Germany that did not had ventilators or air condition in the room when I arrived.

Great apartment in perfect location

Excellent stay! Perfect location for exploring Dresden- right in the heart of this beautiful historical city. Walking distance to most major sights. Located on the edge of a spectacular plaza and Surrounded by excellent restaurants. Very comfortable well appointed apartment. Comfortable double bed and good storage space for luggage in bedroom. Separate living area with comfortable sofa and chair. Nice dining space. Good kitchen for small meals. Washing machine was a bonus for us while travelling. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location.

Lovely apartment, comfortable, spacious and well stocked. Right in the middle of the old town square, within easy walking distance to all the major sites. Dresden is a beautiful city, and the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good place to stay, right in the centre of town.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. Christmas market right downstairs and all attractions of the old city right at your doorstep. The place is not luxurious but practical. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Beds are comfortable, furnishings are a bit dated but authentic East German style. Good value for the money. Parking is an issue but the hotel offers a discounted location very close by. Breakfast at the recommended restaurant was good and priced right. Overall we'd recommend this place.

Good surroundings but bad WiFi connection

The place is quite near Frauenkiche in Dresden, which means that most of the great attractions are there. However, the WiFi connection is terribly bad. Outside the living room, there is no signal.

i love it!

This apartment is literally right in the heart of Dresden's main sights. The apartment itself is big and well equipped with all you need, from kitchen to washing machine, a drying rack for the clothes would have been great. Check in & out was a breeze. To avoid hauling your luggage through cobblestones....make sure you take tram 9 if I remember it correctly from the Dresden central station & get off @ theater-platz.

Great place to stay, right in the heart of Dresden. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We managed to just make it before their front desk hours ended and even though we were the last check-in for the day, still so pleasant. Only complaint was that it does get noisy, even with the windows closed, but our apartment was right above the restaurants where people apparently do not sleep. Would come back.

Apart hotel convenient for a few days stay

Hard to find when arriving by car. Quite a lot of lugging luggage around from reception (when you find it) to temporary parking and then locating your overnight parking space. However, seeing this is a very old historical city with limited parking that cannot be helped and the staff is helpful in guiding you through the steps.

Highly recommended, the room (suite, really) was huge, with a kitchen and even a washing machine. Right in the middle of downtown. I could have stayed there for a while.

Excellent location

This hotel is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for space and are travelling with a few people. We had a living room, kitchen, and a bedroom. The hotel is kept clean. The beds were very hard though. it is walking distance to the shopping mall and there are plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel doors. The staff were very helpful. Good hotel I would go back.

Perfect location for Christmas markets

The location can't be beat, especially if you're there for the Christmas market. It's right in the heart of the Frauenkirche. Lots of great restaurants right in the area. Rooms are a little dated but comfortable enough. The one negative is that our room did not have a shower in the traditional sense. There was a shower nozzle but it was just a nozzle with the tub, so there was some maneuvring involved. But our room did have a washing machine which was very handy.

A difficult place to find but okay to stay at

This is an apartment style hotel that has one room plus a kitchen and bathroom. We had a difficult time finding the correct building we were staying in as they have several buildings. In the end everything was okay. Close to everything including eating places.

Great location, but those church bells!

The room was fine, with the kitchen quite spacious for an aparthotel. The shower in the bath is kind of odd; just a handwand in a sunken bathtub. A safe in the room would have been good. The location is superb, but being right next to the big church means you are right next to the big bells. On hot nights, opening the window (no A/C) is not really an option because you will have the noise of the square, the restaurants, the street musicians and the church bells. You can either have a great view, or a quiet room, not both.
