We had a great time while staying at Aparthotel Munzgasse. All the museums are close by. A rail station is just a view streetcar stops away. If we are back to Dresden we will stay there again.

Had a group in town and needed something quick and central for a less than 24 hour overnight visit. Very central to the top Dresden sites in Altstadt and Neustadt. Great English speaking reception crew. Basic amenities but zero complaints at all.

Christmas markets literally started right outside our door! It was amazing! The apartments were exactly what our family needed after a long day at the markets. Clean, spacious, friendly staff.

We had a clean room on the 5th floor with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with a washer, and a kitchen with all the essentials. However, the Wifi connection was very slow to sometimes not usable. Knowing how to access the available facility parking area in advance would have been very helpful since there is no street parking at check-in location. The apartment cost is very reasonable and is located in easy walking distance to all the sites in the old city.

Arrive early to get checked in

Arrived at 10pm No one hear to check us in. Called the emergency number and they referred us to a hotel. They had also moved us- but to a bigger unit in a different building. All turned out ok.

Location and size!

Apartment was great location! The space was more than enough for our family of 6 could have easily slept 8. Simple but adequate furnishings. Only down side was trying to find it. We tried to clarify check in location in advance and received. No response and then could not find building from address. Thankfully a lovely man who apparently works there saw us on corner with bags and kids and helped. The people in Dresden were overly kind! Internet was spotty not great if you plan to work.

The location and size are terrific, but the individual rooms and things like WiFi or access and furniture will depend on the exact building. Our room had a wonderful view but weak Wifi. The bathrooms were very well-maintained, and the shower was very good in regards to temperature and pressure. We also got very lucky with the fantastic view of the Frauenkirche right across the courtyard. Our family members didn't have a comparable view but had much stronger WiFi signal in their room (which was in another building) The registration can be tricky if arriving and leaving early or late. It's not that big a deal.

Meget stor lejlighed meget centralt placeret og passende til en familie med børn, også til et længere ophold. Der var både et køkken og vaskemaskine på badeværelset, men ingen tørretumbler eller tørrestativ. Ingen te eller kaffe på værelset. Morgenmadsbuffet serveres på et andet hotel i nærheden. Det er nemt at komme rundt til seværdigheder fra hotellet til fods. Der er billig, offentlig parkering i operahuset 5-10 min gang fra hotellet.

Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis, mitten in Dresdens Altstadt, super Frühstück, wenn auch Außer Haus. , leider lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig, auch die Aufgänge zu den Apartments sind sehr schnuttlig aber die Rezeption ist super Aufmerksam

Charming Hotel in the Heart of Dresden Although the hotel was small and in an older building, it was very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere had a unique charm, and everything was comfortable and tidy. The best part was the location — right in the city center, directly across from the beautiful cathedral. It was the perfect base for exploring Dresden. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return!

Katastrophe diese Unterkunft zu buchen. App funktioniert nicht und Email Kommunikation praktisch unmöglich. Keine Buchungsinfo erhalten und daher auch keine Übernachtung zustande gekommen... Abgebucht wurde trotzdem. Vor Expedia kann ich somit nur warnen und auf andere seriöse Anbieter verweisen.
