We absolutely loved our stay - it was perfect, comfortable bed, fans and AC, screens on all windows and doors, spacious, updated and well-maintained, very clean, fully equipped, gorgeous beachfront view and ocean walk, easily accessed covered parking, lift to upper floors, beautiful warm pool with lots of lounge chairs, easy late check-in! Highly recommend (5/5) and hope to return! Thank you John and Sheree for being so pleasant, accommodating with our arrival change and welcoming!!

A lovely spot right across from the ocean - residential area so very quiet which is a blessing as we enjoyed the peacefulness.. having Palm Cove just a few minutes away if we wanted something more in terms of restaurants etc…

Great beach location

Located across the street from a beautiful beach, this hotel is the perfect spot for a holiday, this is a great facility, pool and BBQ area. The only downside was a very hard bed that should be replaced.

Great Apartment

We really enjoyed our week in this apartment as it was so spacious and clean and being across from the ocean was great. You could easily spend a month here. There were no ants and having great screens on all the windows made it very pleasant and we were able to leave everything open while we were out. You do need a car to be able to access Palm Cove where there was a huge selection of great restaurants. Having a great supermarket 5 mins drive away was also great. It was so quiet and you are half way between Port Douglas and Cairns.

Great place, but last few days spoilt by cigarette smoke

We recently stayed at the Agincourt in Clifton Beach. We are very familiar with Cairns and environs so chose that area. We chose this hotel based on reviews from travel sites. On arrival late afternoon we found the office closed, but an envelope with our name was on the door, and a note directing us to the unit. This was great, as we were very tired. the unit was on the first floor and was very appealing in decor and cleanliness. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. The grounds around the pool area are lovely, and there is a great bbq with all the tools to use, as well as seating under cover. The pool is a great size for doing laps, and is heated. The only thing that spoiled our last few days was a group that was put in the unit below us, and they chain smoked all day long out thru the screens, and it came up into our room and deck area. We are not fans of air conditioning, even in extreme weather, but we were forced to close the doors and put the air con on. My suggestion would be to try and ask if they intend to smoke, and put them to one end of the long block. I realize that the rooms are non smoking, and there are ashtrays provided on the decks, but for us, our last few days made us feel like we were 'holed up' unable to venture outside.

Friendly residential area, you can check in and check out in non business hours. If you go there with a car, nothing problem, but i may be a little inconvienient with public transportation. We enjoyed morning walk on the beach.
