Lovely hotel in prime location!

Excellent hotel in a prime location that is close to everything! The room and bathroom was clean. Checkin and Checkout process was quick. Location was excellent! Right across from the Palazzo Vecchio Museum! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as shopping! Enjoyed our stay!

Location is prefect!

Location, Location, Location! This hotel is prefect for walking around Florence you are right on the square with many restaurants and shops. The hotel is very small and older but it is very clean and the staff are very nice. The rooms are very spacious and the only negative was the air conditioning not great. They bring your breakfast to your room at the time you pick the day before. There are stairs so if you have a problem please be warned. Bed is comfortable. Very good for a family.

Hotel was in a very nice area and on the same road with all the restaurants. It was also right around the corner from the Spanish Steps. Room was big enough for a family of 5! My son left his game station in the couch. I emailed the hotel and they found it! We are working on getting it shipped back home.

The best location in Florence! Right at Piazza La Signora everything near by, museums, shops and restaurants. Room was ready even though we got there earlier. Fantastic place to stay in Florence!

Great experience. Gentle and pleasant staff. Super cozy room and overall hotel. It has a palace feeling. Location can’t get any better, you walk out into a nice plaza. Beautiful view from the room and when you close the window and curtains, the noise and light completely blocks out. Amazing breakfast is included and served in the room

La Casa del Garbo was conveniently located in Piazza della Signoria, from which we were able to easily walk to various museums, the Duomo, and Ponte Vecchio. The B&B was charming and well-kept, however anticipate negotiating stairs as there is not an accessible elevator at this site. Would definitely stay again :)

Like, location. Didn’t like that the pictures posted didn’t fit the reality, no one there to help you climb the 3 stories to get to the top room (more like 5 stories if you count the stairs) the shower pressure is horrible, no view at all from any of the windows, arrogant response from the owner even though it was a room for 5 she charged 90 euro more daily

Loud music and parties detracted from the visit.

Beautiful property in a very convenient spot on the Piazza. We were very disappointed by the noise immediately below us, which made it impossible to sleep until late into the night. Loud disco music past midnight combined with shouting and partying characterized our experience on floor two, directly above the Gucci bar. Higher rooms probably do not have this problem, but the hotel was booked, so we were stuck. We notified the property manager, but they were unable to cure the problem and refused a refund, saying the issue was out of their control.

Spacious bed and breakfast, great for families

Great bed and breakfast-style apartment! We spent two nights there -- 2 adults, 3 kids. The people running it were very friendly and accommodating, and did a great job. Unfortunately, the WiFi (and CC machines/phone lines) were down when we were there, which was frustrating, but that isn't the fault of the apartment itself -- it was due to some public service issue. The AC was great, too, and the breakfast allowed us to save time and money by not having to work out breakfast somewhere, and instead, we were able to get on to touring more quickly! The apartment is also well situated for Florence, with everything being within walking distance! I would stay there again.
