Booking and check in was easy, it’s in a great spot if you’re coming for a car/bike week. The furniture was very outdated and there was quite a bit of cosmetics that need to be updated as well, but overall it was a good stay.

This apartment is in a great location, but the pictures make it look like it's in MUCH better shape than it is. Broken floor tiles, low ceilings (6'6"), window A/C units that are MUCH too noisy to use while sleeping. Tiny bathroom. The only reason to stay here is the convenient location and the low(ish) price for a 2BR. My 7yo walked in and noted within two minutes: "This is the worst place I've ever been."

Stinks and noisy!!

I’ve stayed a lot of places in my life and this was the worst. The smell was awful! The blinds were ripped. Old food left in kitchen. One bathroom no hot water. Being an old unit you hear everything from upstairs. Every footstep they make. I booked for three nights and left after one and found another place. I lost my money because they have a zero refund policy but I didn’t care. I couldn’t let my family sleep there another night.

Not worth it!

Designated parking spot was 2 blocks away. When there were 2 empty spots directly behind the building we were made to move our vehicle. Apartment conditions were questionable, unsafe outlets, floor buckled, nowhere to wash sand off before re-entering, so sand was everywhere. On a positive note, only one block to beach and boardwalk. I stayed at Sophie'S place 3 weeks prior, a little longer walk to beach, but cheaper, cleaner & more accessible I would never use Ocean Lodge or Mallard Apts. again!

Very friendly staff!

First off, the staff are incredibly kind! Very hospitable. The apt was very spacious and perfect for what we needed. The only negatives were that 1)The floors were very dirty. I swept as soon as we got there, and swept up tons of hair, dirt, and dead bugs. Walking across the floor one time left you with disgustingly black feet. 2) Parking was far from ideal. You had to either get parked in, or park someone else in if you wanted to park at the property. There was a 2nd parking option 2 blocks away.

The Bathroom

My one critique, was the bathroom. The Toilet is entirely to close to the Tub. There could have been a little more space. Other than that. All was good with the Apartment.

i book this apartment coz it say can stay 12 people and the woman told me no this apartment only can stay 10 people ! and ask me pay the other $100 for extra 2 people and i show them the listing an d what a sudden she say is fine! Only 1 parking space and at night when we back to apartment after dinner our spot get other people park at !!!!! and the parking is not right in front of the apartment you have to walk 2 broad down! really really bad , and when you get in to the apartment smell like pee , bed is dirty, and quality really really bad worst than motel6 !and we pay almost $500 a night ! will never even book again !

Only problem i had was the cash deposit they wanted whrn i got there because i did not know that i need that...thank god i had it to give or i would have need to cancel and find another spot to stay...i love the place the distance from the beach
