Loved the location 2 min walk to Waverely station. I liked that it wasn’t in the royal mile district and has the shopping mall across the street. Also had a view of Caldon hill from our window. Front desk was very friendly and let us check in early. Suite was a bit tired inside compared to pictures but wasn’t a problem at all and very clean. No water in the room but there was milk for tea. Would highly recommend

The rooms are spartan and lack warmth or charm. The beds are small and the rooms below the ground floor are noisy with street activity and exposure to the train station. We requested a room change upon arrival and were declined. Fortunately, a well meaning staff member found us a room with two single beds in a very quiet room. This proved to be just fine; otherwise we would have checked out and found accommodation elsewhere. Not likely to ever return.

The room was nice and spacious. Rooftop had spectacular views. The staff weren't overally helpful and one.was rude. It was very warm during our stay so we had to leave.windows.open and ask for fan...continually have to listen to the train announcements till late. Nearly was scalded.in the shower as hot water setting to high. We asked for help on how to use the washer/dryer as we have seperate units in Canada...Was told.just read the instructions on it Which there weren't any. Had to google it. Staff didn't seem that knowledgeable on the area either.

Great location, very clean , tidy, huge suite. Staff was very helpful. Windows open for fresh air. I know they are doing renovations, noticed counters with chips in different room .Plugs are in strange places in bedroom, no plugs in the bathroom. Location was perfect from the train station and everything.

We loved our stay at Princes street. Our room for 4 persons was clean, well appointed kitchen and very central. Alain, the general manager was extremely personable and explained the highlights of the area. He gaves us a gift of shortbread, which was so good we purchased a few more boxes. Kye, the assistant manager was so accommodating that he went out of his way to instruct us of how to turn on the oven. Kudos to the staff at Prince street. Harrisoon clan

We really enjoyed our stay with our 2 adult children. The location was great, minutes from the train station and a bus stop. Walking distance to the Royal mile. There were shops, restaurants and great pubs close by. Check in was easy and there was always someone at reception available to answer questions. The decor was lovely, looked new and was well kept. We had a 2 bedroom suite so 2 baths would have been perfect but as we were a family it wasn’t a problem to share a bath. The suite had a washer/dryer unit, dishwasher and the kitchen was well equipped. I Would definitely recommend the Princes street suites to friends.
