I've stayed in this apartment block before but in nicer apartments while there was nothing really wrong with the apartment the standard had been set and our sum with disappointed.

It looks like people are living in the building and some apartments are rented out. The building was safe and quiet but there are no food options onsite. The apartments also had slightly different items (e.g. one had 2 heaters and a hairdryer whereas the second apartment only had 1 heater and no hairdryer). Both had good views. The building is close to Sandton Mall. I was in contact with reception via WhatsApp and they were very accomodating to my requests and very responsive.

This apartment is nothing like the listing suggests. The photos show a clean and well-maintained space, but in reality, it is old, dirty, and neglected. The dining chairs and sofa are filthy, the pots and Pyrex are chipped and look like they’ve been around for a century, and the duvet is so worn out that all the filling has shifted to the sides - leaving you essentially sleeping under a bedsheet. The blanket in the cupboard? Don’t even consider using it. The carpet in one of the bedrooms has holes, and the entire room has an unpleasant, ingrained musty dirty smell. It was so bad that I checked out three days early and booked a clean hotel for the same price. I would not recommend staying here.

Property is beatiful. All you need for a short trip is there. The only problem we had was i the bathroom: one coyld not regulate properly flow of hot and cold water. Hot was the only coming and it was difficult to bath.

Do not book at Westay Westpoint Apartment

We booked a smoking apartment only to be told we cannot smoke in the apartment, yet there is ashtray provided. On our arrival the duvet covers had yellowish color stains and when we asked for it to be changed we where told it only gets washed on a Tuesday. We checked in on Thursday. The sofas where old very old and torn. The tin opener was blunt and could open a can, that also was an issue to have it replaced. There was no hand or dish towels provided. Bath towels where never washed and we where forced to use them for 2 days. When we requested new towels we where told there where no towels available and they will wash the towels and have them replaced in 2 hours. Extremely horrible service and would not recommend anyone to stay at this apartment.

Perfect if Traveling in a Big Group

The rooms were comfortable, but the sofa needed to be updated. Perfect if traveling in a large group. The pool area is lovely. There is no grocery store in walking distance:( but there is a McDonald's around the corner.

O local é excelente, muito confortável e gostamos bastante. Porém necessita melhor manutenção dos apartamentos, tive que buscar em aptos até encontrar uma com a máquina de lavar funcionando. Falta ar condicionado nos quartos. Só na sala. Mas muito confortáveis e completos

Esse lugar me ofereceu a melhor experiência em estadia que já tive na vida. Localização ótima e as condições gerais do apartamento surpreendem, estamos falando de um apartamento completo, com duas suítes e todas as comodidades que não são esperadas desse tipo de acomodação, como por exemplo, o serviço de limpeza e arrumação diária. O único ponto negativo foi a hora de deixar o local e ir para outro destino rsrs.
