The location was very convenient for shopping, restaurants and the Four Mile Beach. All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Very helpful with organizing a tour to the Daintree rainforest which was just a short drive away. No elevators but staff carried luggage to the room and were very friendly

Very nice apartment with balcony and you also can do laundry in a laundry area near garage… 2 pools to choose from and central to everything!

This place is good for a short stay in port Douglas. The place is very clean. However, there is a smell of a certain chemical for cleaning or pest control that is somewhat bothersome. It would be great if Changes to the time for the barrier reef tour booked with the hotel were communicated with us.

Comfy hotel appartments on main street

Te hotel is built around a courtyard so even though it was on the main street, the rooms are very quiet. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed. Two nice pools, not large but totally adequate. Very handy to shopping, grocery store and restaurants. A 10 minute walk to the marina to pick up tours etc. Check in staff were very helpful with booking tours and providing general info. Under ground, free parking so our vehicle was not in the hot sun.

Excellent location, clean, staff very nice.

Location on the main street (Macrossan) was excellent. 5 minute walk to 4 Mile Beach. Two swimming pools with BBQ facilities. The room/apartment was a nice size, clean and the beds were comfortable. Quiet. Laundry room was very convenient.

Nice hotel in central Port Douglas

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon. The room was clean and well air-conditioned. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare our own meals. The grocery store is within a 5 minute walk to get supplies, and there is a coffee shop located just outside of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helped book our snorkelling tour to the GBR.

An oasis in the middle of town

This hotel is an oasis in the middle of town, with easy access to restaurants, shopping. The kitchen does not have an oven, and the convection microwave oven was a bit difficult to use, but otherwise the kitchen was well appointed. Both bedrooms had access to a deck, one of which we used to have breakfast and lunch. Bathrooms were newly renovated in marble, but only had a shower, which did not bother us. Transfers to and from the hotel were arranged by the staff at the Villa San Michele and just charged to our room. Towel rental was only $3 per towel per stay. BBQ at our disposal was quick and easy to use, with condiments and utensils available. We walked the 4 mile beach, took a tour from the marina down the river, tours from the marina will take you to the Great Barrier Reef, diving, snorkelling, so many water sports to do, and the staff will arrange it for you also. There is no elevator, and there are 3 floors, so it is not very disabled friendly. A laundry room was available on the first floor with no fee.

Lovely stay

The room was very nice with a small kitchen and separate bedroom area. It was helpful having free laundry machines. The laundry area could have been cleaner but the machines worked well. The staff gave us good travel advice and were very pleasant. I would be very happy to stay there again.

Beware Cockroaches! This hotel was an absolute nightmare. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our vacation, we spent the entire stay battling cockroaches in our room. It was disgusting! We found them everywhere – the bathroom, the bedroom, even crawling on the walls. We contacted the hotel staff, hoping they would address the issue, they sent someone but also told us that cockroaches were common and basically "the norm". Seriously?? If infestations are a regular occurrence, they should at least warn guests beforehand! To try to minimize the impact, they actually told us to go have a look in the car park and see how many cockroaches were there. Like that's supposed to make us feel better?! To add insult to injury, when we asked for some kind of compensation for this horrendous experience, the staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They actually hung up the phone on us when we called after checkout! This hotel clearly has zero respect for its guests. Avoid at all costs! I would never recommend this place to anyone and I certainly won't ever be staying there again.

No elevators but good location

This is not a hotel but a small apartment unit. We had a nice unit with view of trees and the flying foxes(bats)! Amazing. Not so amazing was the absence of elevators, no daily cleaning and only one soap bottle in the bathroom which bothered me ( you need to remember to take it out of shower and put back by sink. I asked for another but was denied) Did love the location on the main street.
