This hotel is truest charming! Very spacious and amazing location next to the Duomo! Welcome basket with jams, crackers and cookies. Water, milk and juice in the fridge. Fresh croissants every morning at your door. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Only issue was trying to find it. It is in between restaurants...and can be very easily missed. However, once you do find it, you’ll be happily surprised!

great stay

It was a great stay, the decoration is so warm, nice and clean room with a kitchen, just like a home stay. There is a library on the 2nd floor, and so warm that you can enjoy free red wine while you are reading. Also on the top floor, a unique design space with nice decoration, sofa, table, glass roof, you can see the top of Florence Cathedral, enjoy the breakfast or nice relax time there.Very kind staff, a graceful maddam, I guess she is the owner. Location is great, just next to Florence Cathedral, but the hotel gate is quite small, not so easy to find. This is my first review in Hotel.com, becasue I am so happy with my stay, will come back in the further. can't up load a photo, maybe the photo is ok too large.

Terrific location. Accommodating service. Lovely library provided post-checkout sanctuary while I waited for my train. Secure quiet comfort, buffered from the nearby loud evening music and crowds. Near to the central rail station and major Florence tourist sites.

We really liked our stay at Granduomo Charming Accomodation and would likely return. The room was spacious and decorated with much taste, just enough, no overkill. The hotel was clean and all hotel amenities you need were there. You cannot ask for a better location, central, ideal for walking, but away from trafic. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. We stayed 3 nights.

location is everything

The door right in front of the Duomo entrance and the Baptistry, halfway through the city if you go north or go south, you are equally between the main attractions of Florence. The lady at the reception is very pleasant, the room amenities are great, kitchenette has everything you need, they provide breakfast: full container of juice, water, jams and croissant, cheese spread, cereal and milk, so a continental breakfast type included. The washroom very modern and very spacious. the only thing there was a smell of air freshener or scent all the time, maybe to cover some other scent but I could not detect what, you got used to it quickly. air conditioning worked great, not too loud. two single beds prety small ,but put together allowed you not to fall. but we saw that size in other hotels in Italy. Elevator available and in working order. Walk to train station even with luggage (don't even try the taxis. for a 15 minutes walk we paid 15 euros to get to the hotel.)

Best location but just a croissant for breakfast?

Could not have asked for a better location, the rooms and were nice and very clean, great staff. But the inclusive breakfast was just a croissant? I think it's pretty deceiving to say breakfast included and give a croissant. If you stay here make sure you plan to buy breakfast from outside.

Very Nice Hotel

The room is so huge, very clean, and very classic! Complete with amenities. It's close to duomo and just a few steps to other tourist spots. We even walked our way to the train station with our luggage on our last day in Florence. And because the room is so beautiful we even had a pictorial in there!

Charming, romantic good location.

Wonderful charming hotel. Rooms were quite large and comfortable for Europe. Central to to everything and has a super nice view of the Duomo. and they even upgraded us when we arrived. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Also bonus, they have a roof top patio for you to take in the site of Florence!

Amazing and Charming!!!

Staying here was like something out of a movie. The suites are exactly as shown in the pictures. Every night we fell asleep to the sound of beautiful music coming from the square (totally sound-proof though if you close the windows). The location is amazing. Also, the ladies at the front desk are extremely eager to make your stay as wonderful as possible. We are going to tell everyone we know about this place!!

We stayed for just one night, and got upgraded to the fourth floor suite. It was a great room, with great views. Close to everything you need to see in Florence with a short stay. Close to trains, obviously right beside the Duomo, and restaurants and bars within seconds of the front door.

Would gould back anytime!

Fantastic hotel! If we had to go back to Florence, we would book this hotel again. We were there for one night on our honeymoon. We had reserved a superior double room, but were upgraded to the loft room which was outstanding. They toold us everything in the fridge was included in the price (note that in Italy things in the fridge are never included). There was prosciutto, salami, cheese, fruits, orange juice, cereals, milk, bottles of water, bread and jams. They even sent croissants to our door in the morning (this is included for every room). We tought it was incredible to eat breakfast in our room. The only negative is the parking. They say ''parking nearby''...well that's if you find it. There is no actual parking space reserved for the hotel. Finding your way in Florence is already a headache even with a GPS. When we finally found a parking (after 35 minutes), we had to pay 35 euros for the night. When we got to the hotel, they informed us they had a agreement with a parking (Michel Angelo as I remember) nearby for 25 euros per night, but we never found it! Nevertheless, AWESOME stay!!
