Handy and good amenities.

We enjoyed the balcony for our breakfast. Not a lot around locally other than large mall. Easily accessible to the airport by car. You have to show up before 8pm to check in!

Small & it smelled like dirty diapers

The parking was really tight & not lit up although underground? The room was very small & had a bad odour. The balcony was glassed in, but glass was dirty overlooking a parking lot. The only good thing was it was walking distance to restaraunts. Would not stay here again.

One week vacation

We spent a week with Manukau as our base visiting Auckland and area. The proximity apartments are in one of the best spots for a family. The condition of the rooms is "used" where you can tell they have a lot of use. If you stay rent a car from rent a dent it was less than half the price of others.

Good location, close to mall and airport. 1 hour bus ride to Auckland. Price is great, room could be cleaner, couch and carpet dirty. Maid service daily, but does minimum. Front dest service, excellent.

Proximity Apartments okay

The size and layout of a 2 bedroom apartment was good for our family (2 adults, 6 month old and 2 year old). It was nice the apartment is made of concrete to minimize the noise of our baby crying. Great to have in house laundry and towel warmer. Housekeeping was okay, the carpet never seemed that clean and the beds are the cheap mattresses that don't last long. Overall the stay was okay, no real complaints, but not memorable and not fabulous. Good location to mall and you can even walk to groceries which was nice.
