Very close to a subway stop and lots of restaurants. The bed was amazing. The shower hot and strong. And all the staff i spoke to were very friendly and helpful. My basic apartment only had windows onto an internal shaft but that was fine by me. Probably quieter that way.

This was a wonderful property as a base for our five days in Santiago. The view from our large fourth floor balcony was superb giving us an incredible view of San Cristobal and the Andes beyond that. The staff were excellent with good English. There were some fantastic restaurants nearby as well as scattered convenience stores and close grocery stores for when we cooked in the apartment. Loved our stay and have no hesitation recommending this property.

Great Central Spot

Wonderful friendly staff, centrally located. Great restaurants around the area and very walkable safe neighbourhood. Since I was on the 3rd floor the internet strenght was very poor at times. I had to come down to the first floor. However my overall experience was wonderful and I would recommend this hotel.

close to many attractions and parks. Ian the reception was the kindest person and most helpful, The hotel is actually an apartment complete with kitchen, living room. bedroom and bath. I would definitely recommend it and would return if I were going again to Santiago.

Home away from home.

My wife, daughter and I stayed in a deluxe two bedroom superior apartment in the 61 building for eleven nights. We experienced fast internet, well equipped facilities, excellent maid and receptionist services. The front reception always spoke excellent English, were extremely helpful and friendly. The best feature was the excellent location in Lastarria, walking distance to all major points of interest and close proximity to the best restaurants.

This hotel-apartment was disappointing for me. It is in an excellent area, Lastarria, and was a good apartment, but didn’t provide adequate value for the cost. The description promised two twin beds and a queen, but instead there was a queen and one twin bed. We had to use a pull-out sofa, and it wasn't even made, although they knew the number of guests coming. They brought sheets and a pillow and left them for me to make the sofa bed. We also had to walk up four flights of steps, which is OK but not worth it for the one night we were there. There was an additional flight if stairs inside the apartment. There was no tea or coffee that I could find. In short, its a great area and a good apartment, but not worth it for a short stay or given the lack of concern to details.
