You can see the castle lit up at night. The room was close to the castle and the train station. Despite being in an older building, it was renovated and clean.

Nice stay

It was in the perfect location next to the town and only 10 min away from the ferry. The room was good comfy and there is a kitchen there if you want to use it but the town is only a5 min walk away so plenty of choose there. This is room only.

Lovely stay, very convenient to the train station, cliffs walk and castle. Kitchen and laundry facilities available for use which was nice. Only downside was the sink in our room did not drain well so we didn’t really get to use it properly.

Its extremely centrally located, which made it super easy to walk everywhere I wanted to go. The property was easy to check in and out from. I was in one of the small loft rooms, and the room was clean, there was plenty of space for me to spread out. My window overlooked the back garden which offered a sense of privacy, especially since I had the window open most of the time. Overall, a wonderful stay - would highly recommend, especially for a soli traveller.

Our room had a view of the castle, and was pleasantly spacious. The busy road in front, with a narrow pavement, was less ideal. Still well worth the trouble, and it would have been easier had we arrived before dark.

The room was ok but the tv remote did not work. The bed was ok for me but others might find it uncomfortable. The bathrooms were on another floor but otherwise ok . There is a small kitchen 2 floors above which is good but you do have to go looking for it. Only one person at a time in it though.

Large room, basic but very clean and comfortable. Be aware that room 1 is in the basement, narrow circular stairs to descend. Easy access to shared bathroom, fully equipped communal kitchen super clean and tidy. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No signage on the building so little difficult to find.

Amazing view of the castle from a very spacious room. Very clean. We were in room 6 (twin beds) which was on the 1st floor (but in UK floors start with Ground so there was a flight of stairs). There was only one other room on that floor to share the bathroom with so no problem. The property does have a kitchen and a kitchenette so you can prepare (or reheat) meals. There is no staff on the property so you need to provide ID electronically in advance and will get keypad and other info before check in. I would definately stay here agsin.
