Hidden Gem right on the beach

Small cozy condo perfect for a couple. Great staff was very helpful and the location was ideal. The condo is abit dated but the great price I got more than made up for it. The only con I can say is the wifi can be sperattic at times but everything else is what I excepted for the price. I will book this place again when another bargain comes up.

Good area, dirty hotel

We arrived to our room after a very long drive. The attendant was less than welcoming, didn't even greet us. We were tired but excited for our lovely room as we saw and spoke about online from hotels.com. Our room made my eyes burn it smelled so bad. My husband said it was recently fumigated and not cleaned afterwards. There was holes in the walls and dirty dishes in the cupboards and no dishwasher. When I turned on the tv it didn't even work. When I called attendant and complained about no dishwasher, smelly room and dirty dishes I asked for the manager and he refused to let me speak with the manager while he played with the tv while on the phone with someone. When I asked if it was the manager he said no & told me to complain to whoever I booked with! I was about to freak when he came back with keys to another room. We opened it and someone was already using the room! We went back again and he gave us another set of keys, this time the room didn't smell as bad, but it was dirty...not as bad as the first room and we were so tired now 11:30 pm, so we took it. The ceiling fan in the room was covered in tremendous filth right over the bed and I lived in fear of someone turning it on. The next day we bought aire fresheners and I never did get my dishwasher but we made out ok with plastic plates and cups.

Perfect for us

We loved our stay. New kitchen and bath and extremely clean. Everything you'll need to make a meal is here...well stocked kitchen. Bed was ok too (we're used to a king bed) Front desk was helpful and friendly. Balcony was too small to sit on, but they do have condos with larger ones...ask when you check in. All in all...great stay.

A gentleman named Henry checked us in and he was great. The rest of the staff was friendly and courteous, the room was very clean, easy access to the beach and the shops. No golf cart parking needs to be added to the website and the rooms are dated but all in all we had great time!!

Great vacation!

This was a great vacation! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for us, having plenty of room and a great view. My daughter and granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The parking was easy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and neat and the beds were comfy! Thank you , Peppertree for a great stay!

Decent

Average property with decent price for Labor Day weekend. Room was big enough and it had a decent kitchen. Room wasn’t the cleanest with dirty baseboards and hair on the floor but still clean enough to stay. Biggest issue was the pool was closed and that was not disclosed prior to our arrival so we were pretty disappointed about that. Best thing was, they played Grease on the lawn one night on a blowup screen so that was cool.

Everything was great, minus figuring out the TV conundrum for us to sleep. It was way too technical for our taste. Clean, clean, clean! And quaint. Really loved it. A caveat: Make a vocal reservation for an ocean front room. Otherwise, wonderful stay! We will do it again.

No bar/lounge. Plenty of nonsense.

Let’s start with the bar/lounge mentioned on the main page. Yeah there isn’t one. I stayed in room 320. If the place wasn’t screaming for an update, the missing lightbulbs might have been cute. I think the focus here is on rules and fees. (10 am checkout with the threat of $75 fee for being late) Where the focus should be is on maintenance. We get it. Lose a pool towel and it’s a $15 charge. What do we get to charge a Peppertree when the showerhead is crap? Or the battery only smoke detector goes off all night. I was told at the front desk that it was this websites’ fault for misrepresenting the bar lounge issue. That I’m not sure about. Of course the beach is awesome. Of course the place is on the beach. So is literally everything in North Myrtle Beach. Think twice, book once. April at the front desk was quite efficient. I’d steer clear!
