Along with an outdoor pool, this smoke-free villa has a sauna and Access to hot tub. Self parking is free. Additionally, dry cleaning, laundry facilities and express check-in are on-site. All 18 individually decorated villas have 2 bedrooms and feature free WiFi and private yards. Guests can enjoy deep soaking bathtubs, and other standard amenities include kitchens with fridges and stovetops.
Quarterdecks Retreat offers 18 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature washers/dryers and DVD players. Rooms open to furnished balconies or patios. This individually decorated and furnished accommodation has separate sitting areas and includes desks. Beds feature premium bedding. Accommodation at this 4.5-star villa has kitchens with full-sized fridge/freezers, stovetops, microwaves and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include baths or showers with a deep soaking bath, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers.

I took my 2 little dogs, there was a great little grassed area and covered outdoor area for us all to enjoy. Roomy unit with clean and fresh looking furniture, great bed to dive into after a long day.

Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, helpful and approachable. The property is a self contained villa with modern furnishings, the villa i stayed in had an outdoor area a double lock up garage and beautiful skylights in the kitchen. The location is peaceful and inviting for an afternoon walk of the area and there is a woolworths a few minutes drive away which is convenient. The fact the property offers pet friendly accommodation (although i didn’t utilise it this trip) is a big bonus and will definitely have me and my friends choosing to stay here in the future over other locations.

The Villa was very nice and comfortable. Kids loved the pool. Plus also could take the small dog and was a good size court yard for the dog. Overall highly recommend if staying in Hervey Bay.

Unit was great and clean, we couldnt get wifi password to work but thats minor. We didnt like the 'have to park in garage' rule which was probably in the booking details, as we had to disconnect our tow bar to fit in the garage, unpack outside and only have the driver left to back the ute in. I suppose given the number of units, a car out the front would be in the way.

The set up was good disappointing that the shower didn’t drain very well ended up with a wet bathroom floor . Maybe the drain is partially blocked ?

There was no mention when booking that the swimming pool and sauna were out of order due to construction and had been for a fair while. After I paid in full I received a message letting me know it was closed until approx the end of June I was booked in on the 16 th July so I thought I would ring to check and was told they both were closed but it did not matter because there not Heated anyway! If I knew this I would not have booked there are plenty of places to stay. There was a problem with the wifi and would not connect to the TV’s when I asked about this I was told we supply wifi to the villa but not the TVs lol you just got the feeling that no matter what you asked it was just dismissed like it is what it is just deal with it..

Good apartment on the outskirts town.

Apartment is not centrally located so most restaurants require either a short drive or a taxi as there is not much available in the local vicinity. The accommodation itself is a great size & in good condition internally, the garden area however is not well maintained & isn't welcoming to sit in. It is housed within a gated community which gives a nice secure feeling . Despite my booking clearly stating that breakfast was included it wasn't. Reception informed me that there was no restaurant on site & therefore no food could be offered. They also stated that i wasn't the first person to have this problem but because Best Western were a big company they weren't interested.
