Op bezoek bij strenge ouders

We zaten in het onderste appartement (gang met tafel, kast en keuken erin gemoffeld, grote slaapkamer en prima (oude) douche). Net naast ons ruime terras (waar alle andere gasten overheen gaan) zit een schuur waar de uitbaters in leven. Ze letten de gehele dag en nacht op je. Je wordt aangesproken met je voornaam. De bemoeienis die we zoal kregen was; Doe je wel even het licht uit? Hang je was daar op met knijpers. Ga mee met je kind naar het zwembad. Eenmaal bij t zwembad komen ze je achterna om je te vertellen dat je de kinderen eerst met zeep moet wassen voordat ze t zwembad in mogen. Na ons verblijf werd ons niet gevraagd of we het naar ons zin hadden gehad maar of we niets kapot hadden gemaakt en hoeveel airco we hadden gebruikt. Daarna werd ons gevraagd of we nog iets te klagen hadden?! Ik heb eerlijk geantwoord dat ons verblijf weinig privé was... het antwoord was: ja daar heb je zelf voor gekozen door de onderste verdieping te boeken. Het voelde alsof wij (volwassen met 2 kinderen) op bezoek waren bij strenge ouders die ons nauwlettend in de gaten hielden.
