Heart beat of Edinburgh. Perfect Walking distance to everything you want to see. We didn’t bring a vehicle but took the tram from the airport and it was very convenient. An earlier check in would have been helpful as the shared storage for temporary luggage was not ideal but this was only a minor inconvenience and check in was otherwise very prompt and seamless.

At first glance, this is a beautiful apartment and large enough to feel comfortable after smaller spaces mostly throughout the country. On the plus side, the comfy sofa, the tv, the high pressure shower, big fridge and all the appliances. However, the bed is unfortunately far from comfortable (springs) and we had some problems with the appliances: woke us up in the early morning beeping without reasons.

Fantastic apartment close to everything

This is a fantastic place to stay. It’s a small but fully equipped apartment with kitchen, living, dining, bedroom, and bathroom. Clean, new, and in great shape. Close to grocery, restaurants, and historical sights. The door doesn’t have a knob and it’s hard to open but just hip check it hard and it opens once you’ve entered your password. Great deal. Book this ASAP.

Destiny Scotland flat

I was in town visiting my best friend who happened to be very ill and in hospital. The flat was perfectly located for an easy bus ride to the hospital, her flat and for the downtown. The 100 Airlink stops close by for easy access to the airport. Lots of eateries and shopping nearby. I loved the keyless entry. The staff were quick to respond to a minor issue with the boiler (literally had someone there in 10 minutes). The flat was large and well equipped. I would rent again!

Cozy bed sit in the West End

Cozy bed sit in the West End, close to the convention centre and all the necessary shops, pubs, take aways and restaurants. Wifi, kitchen, bed, towels etc all good. Could do we a bit of TLC, and a spring clean (a bit dusty). The sofa was not in great shape and its the main dozy place in front of the TV. The shower (no bath) is good but the water temperature could be hotter. Generally so this is a good low cost bet with double the space on a hotel bed at a lower price.

Centrally located hotel in heart of Edinburgh.

In a secure, modern, well-equipped building, our two bedroom flat was clean and welcoming. We felt very secure as entry to building was by use of a code. We were five minutes from Princes' Street, the main thoroughfare of this beautiful city. Overall, a perfectly enjoyable stay.

food accomodation excellent, hand paper towels would have been nice. no garbage empted in 5 days. washing machine not in use impossible to close the door. cleaning product to wipe table tops needed. second dish towel also.

Self contained apartment for one or two.

I had apartment number 3 on the main level. I was travelling alone to visit family, so the apartment met my needs. I liked the independence of not being in a hotel and the easy and keyless access, given that I had prepaid. I just entered the code and in I went. I stayed for over a week so I had one change of towels. There is a full kitchen with washer and dryer. The only confusing issue I had was a cold shower for a few days until I figured out how to adjust the boiler for both heat and water. The location of The Malt House is ideal to both the west end and the New town area. Bus and transit are close by. The Old Town is a short walk or bus ride away. Restaurants, pubs and grocery stores are close by.

Great location, entry is simple and as these are proper apartments, there is no noise from neighbours etc. Spacious apartment with Hive heating, all facilities you would expect also. Would happily stay here again.

We were very happy with our Malt House apartment, which was conveniently located in regard to nearby attractions. A couple of minor detractions: 1. The towel heating rail could only be activated by turning up the heating for the whole apartment; 2. Being close to a pub meant there was occasionally some noise from patrons leaving at night [but it was also very handy for a drink and food :) ]. We would certainly stay at the Malt House again.

Stayed just for one night. Definitely would stay again if stopping for longer. Had everything you could need. It’s only downside for me were the towels as I like large bath towels. Be mindful when booking that it doesn’t have a lift

Great clean and spacious apartment

We stayed in ground floor apartment 2 which was very clean and spacious and most things were in great working order. No need to bring anything (although we did as didn’t know this) everything from cutlery, crockery and utensils all supplied as well as toilet roll, kitchen towel and handwash, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel! I would highly recommend these apartments and would stay again. The only down side was there were a couple of plug sockets not working and the neighbours above us were noisy (constant squealing noises!) and also some outdoor noise too but still not enough to spoil out stay.
