Large rooms

Older hotel but large and comfortable. There is no lift. Due to this I got a room upgrade which was appreciated. The hotel is across the highway from the cbd so not very walkable. Its a bit awkward to find but if you have a car its all good after the first time locating it.

Great, spacious 2 bedroom unit.

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment (unit 25 I believe) in an old, vintage building. 1 bedroom with queen bed whilst the other with 2 twin beds. Fair sized separate living room and separate dining room with large dining table. Kitchen well equipped and served our needs (dishes, utensils, cutlery etc.). Shower was huge and came with washer and dryer which was great. Only negative with our stay, though this may be sensitive, was the guest(s) right above us. He/she had heavy footsteps and it was really loud and woke us up at 4:30 in the morning (and I'm a heavy sleeper). I brought it to the attention of front desk, but understood that it may be difficult to inform that guest. Overall, very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay again.

We stayed on one of the older buildings. It was great with a huge living space, with a dining table and very useful kitchen space enabling us to entertain my family who live locally easily. The location is walkable to a supermarket, and also the Hobart tennis centre which coincidentally was hosting the Hobart international. The residence was comfortable and excellent for our purpose, with our two children. The walls were very thick and enabling us to watch movies in the living space once the children went down for the night. Overall I loved it and will stay here next time we visit Hobart.

Comfortable 2 bed spacious unit with laundry

We had a very comfortable 4 night stay in a spacious 2 bed ground stairs unit. Unit is well appointed. I recommend that they supply more pots pans and glasses. Kitchen is well lit and overlooks the lounge and dining in an open plan type of layout. Centrally located and close driving distance to most places including the harbour and botanical gardens. Walking distance to woollies and BWS both of which are open until 10 pm everyday. Reception is open from 8.30am to 8pm and provide you with replenishments such as tea, coffee, washing powder and dishwashing detergent etc.

Fully self-contained & very clean. We were very happy that there is the washer & dryer within the unit itself. It is only a few minutes walk to the wharf too. Just so convenient. Will definitely be back here again should we be travelling into Hobart next time.

We had a great stay with 2 young children. Great location, friendly staff, clean and tidy. Would have liked one or two more dishwashing sachets, but that is only because I tend to wash after each meal. Other than that,.we had a great stay. Would recommend for anyone.

Clean and Spacious apartment

Very spacious apartment, much larger than I was expecting. Nice and clean. Conveniently located with woolworths and bottle shop close by. The only downside for us was the traffic noise with the apartment being right next to highway and the light from the street (we live out of town and aren’t used to so much road noise and light) plus the small tricky to access parking space as we have a large car. I did note that some of the other apartments did have parking spots that were more convenient so it was just the luck of the draw. Staff were pleasant to deal with and tried their best to find us a better spot to park our vehicle. Despite this I would stay here again as it was a nice apartment and great value.
