Owner was absolutely wonderful. Checked us in right away even thought we were a bit early. It was pouring rain and he upgraded our room to try and make up for the poor weather--super thoughtful and kind. A few hundred meters from the hotel is a restaurant called Clarabells. It has wonderful pizza. Would stay here again and definitely recommend to others.

This was the 2nd time that we stayed at the Rosemont, and we were NOT disappointed !! Excellent location to downtown Hamilton (easy walk). Excellent service. Very friendly staff. We will be returning.

Water and ants

There was water on the bedroom floor when we checked in. Water continued to seep into the bedroom floor. We kept a towel on the floor as directed by management. Ants were swarming around the bedroom plug.

Absolutely loved our stay here, nice having a little kitchen so we could make some meals rather than eat out all the time. The breakfast was a little lacking but some nice yoghurts and pastries. Loved the pool, so nice on a hot day to come back to and have a dip. The only negative was the maid came too early and we kept forgetting to put the do not disturb sign out. Will defo be back again.

Excellent Location

This was a trip that we have been waiting for a LONG time to go on. Booking a property in Bermuda has to be done well in advance, especially if you want a good price. The Rosemont was excellent in all ways, with clear communications for the booking, to the greeting when we arrived to our check out. Everything was well done. We plan to come again. The facility is within walking distance to a grocery store, and downtown Hamilton.

Great find!

Rosemont Guest suites is situated in a very good location, a short walk to the shops of Hamilton. The suite we stayed in was clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed. The staff were super friendly and we didn’t encounter any problems. If we were to visit Bermuda again, we would probably choose the same place.

The hotel is nice, warm pool, friendly staff, away from the main stream of things, and a nice view but …. Had 3 cockroaches visit me during my stay... You know what they say that if you find one you will find …. Hung up my bags and clothes. The microwave was all rusted inside and the coffee creamers and sugars were half opened. (Maybe that's why the cockroaches) Left the maid a tip the first night as I am a polite Canadian. Just made the bed next day and did not leave me any coffee creamers or sugar.(Oh well no more tipping) No candy shop here however you do get a kitchen to use with your suite (If you dare) along with cups and plates if you wish to do some shopping. With a little TLC this would be so much better as a hotel.

Great Vacation Spot!

Very friendly staff, spacious rooms, and beautiful grounds. The walk out rooms were very nice in the garden. However I would suggest letting future guests know how close the walk outs are to the pool and office. In the end tho, this wasn’t an issue as the place is very quiet.

Location and Price were perfect for the few days we were there. We had some noisy people next to us that would stay up past mid night. But all in all the people that run the hotel were amazing. It was so nice to have Mr P as a personal cab driver of the property. Made for an easier time getting cabs on a busy weekend. They were kind enough to arrange cabs for us when we asked. If we need accommodations next time we go to Bermuda we will look at this spot again.

Close to downtown

Rosemont is a pleasant property located close to Hamilton’s downtown and waterfront. Friendly staff and Daisy the golden retriever make for a comfortable place to base your travels around Bermuda.

Guest house had great view of Hamilton harbour/bay

We had very quick check-in, and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although we did not use the kichenette. This was my third visit to Bermuda, and my third stay at this guest house - a repeat customer, so there is something to be said by that.

Comfortable and convenient

For an older couple who prefer sightseeing and walking about town to sports and lying on the beach, Rosemont Guest Apartments was the perfect base for 9 days in Bermuda. Every morning, we got coffee, muffins and yogurt from the hotel lobby, usually bringing them to our room and patio. Then, after a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown Hamilton, we would catch a bus or ferry to get to our chosen destination for the day. Or, we would visit sights in Hamilton. In the evening, we would eat in one of Hamilton's many restaurants, and once again, we would have an enjoyable walk back to our apartment. Had we wanted to, we could have used the swimming pool which was just outside our patio. From our patio, we could see rooftops and palms, sloping down towards the waterfront. We could also have cooked in the little kitchen in our apartment. As we bought snacks and drinks at the grocery store, we did make good use of the refrigerator and the dishes and glassware provided. We actually had minimal contact with the hotel staff and owners. As we tend to keep to ourselves, this suited us very well. What contact we did have, was pleasant and professional. The hotel and area were generally very quiet; on only a couple of occasions did we hear voices from the next room. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the apartment was kept beautifully clean. Only the shower door leaked a bit, but this was a minor annoyance. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Rosemont.

This hotel is in a great location being that it is within walking distance to the ferry and many shops and restaurants. Management is attentive and responsive. Unfortunately, the property is in need of updating and a deep cleaning. I've stayed here a couple times in 2024 due to it being affordable and the reasons I stated above, however following are issues I have encountered: Bird waste all over pool furniture (I asked for them to clean two chairs so we could sit out and they were accommodating), obvious "surface" cleaning only in rooms (bring your Lysol wipes so you can wipe the furniture, walls, and surfaces before you settle in), patio/balcony furniture filthy (had to ask to have someone clean it), breakfast runs out (I showed up 30 mins before breakfast was over and was told they would not be replenishing the small pastries...which is all they served besides yogurt , coffee, and tea). On my last visit, we had an issue with roaches due to an old toaster being brought to our room that had not been cleaned. Management immediately took the toaster and the food that was ruined out of our room but when we saw a few additional roaches that evening, we were given a half empty can of roach spray and we had to stand on a chair to spray behind the fridge and on top of the kitchen shelving (where we saw the few roaches coming from). Please note that upon checkout, the hotel discounted our bill by one night (without us having to ask), which we did appreciate.
