Overall great place to stay! Small room, but up to date, clean, and comfortable! Great location for walking around. Manages to keep the city noise out well. Very friendly staff.

The best part was the location near where we wanted to be and near the marketplace and a short walk from the bui vien street night action which was a lot of fun. Staff were friendly and helpful and I would like to give a shout out to Kenny, the concierge. The building itself is dated but overall comfortable. We were on the 7th floor, and high enough from the traffic noise. The bed was comfortable and I had a had a good sleep until the chairs were being moved around in the restaurant on the 8th floor at about 7 am. The room was on the small side and TV was about 30 inches and there was not much for English channels, but okay. The tub in the bathroom was high and one needs a step to get out safely,which was supplied. Old towels and not very comfortable but this has been a familiar theme in vietnam I've found. The free breakfast on the outdoor veranda was much better than expected including eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast with a side serving of fruit. Overall the value was good and I give this place a 3.5 rating out of 5.

The location is superb, right next to the Ben Thanh market. The room is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and prepared is a simple breakfast on the last day when we had to leave the hotel for the airport at 1:45 a.m.

Was promised welcome drink and fruit plate. Only got fruit plate. Property is advertised as having restaurant and rooftop cafe. Only rooftop cafe is open and only for breakfast. No room service despite advertising on website and in in room compendium. Staff friendly, room clean, bed very nice - but not what was promised re hotel amenities

The location is fabulous as it's walking distance to many landmarks (Opera House, War Remnant Museum etc) and it's also right across from the Ben Thanh Night Market. In addition, there are many good restaurants around. Room #403 was well appointed; it was quiet, spacious and the bathroom had good water pressure. Breakfast on the rooftop was nice and the staff was exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel!

The staff are so gracious and accommodating. They go above and beyond to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. We loved the breakfast, fresh and tasty, and served on the rooftop of the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent, just beside Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance of many tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. As such, we chose not to do the day tour of the city and just did our own by walking to many of the sites identified on the tour. We loved the service and hotel so much that we stayed here again after our trips to Nha Trang and Da Lat.

Great Boutique Hotel, Central Location!

This is a great boutique hotel located within a block of the Market. Standard rooms are tight but well appointed. For longer stays I'd get the larger rooms. Great little roof top bistro/dining area that provides a great view of the city. Would definitely stay here again!

We only stayed one night. The hotel is small but nice. No frills...no pool or gym. The breakfast was ok. The room was nice..clean and comfortable. We faced the street so was a bit noisy at night but that is the norm for most hotels in this area. This hotel is really central. Across the street from Ben Thahn Market. We were able to watch the night market set up..what a great thing to watch. Amazing how they do this every night. Great little restaurants close by as well as a little market next door. 20 min to the airport.

Good location, walkable, close to shopping

We stayed first three and last two days in a holiday in Vietnam. The Anpha was well located in the ciry, close to the museums and historical sights. It was clean but room is very small..but only in it to sleep. The bath/shower is hard to get in and out of so if you have mobility issues it will be hard to use, get in and out of. First time we stayed on third floor and it was quieter than 6th floor. All the buildings are tall and narrow and staying lower have fewer rebounding noises from market and street. We were awake until 1 am with noises from the market and then the stalls being taken down and put away.

Needs food safe handling for staff

The location was good however the room was small. The table lamps take up all the space so you could not use much of the tables. The food was OK however the chef was not very hygienic. I asked for papaya and from the rooftop breakfast room I watched as he cut the papaya and put 2 bits in my plate and ate the end bits. This happened often so needs some food safety course. The kitchen staff could not understand English so it was difficult to get what you wanted. The front desk were very helpful. Would stay here again if I come back to Saigon.

A highly recommended hotel in HCMC

This was a great hotel for our stay in HCMC. Very clean and comfortable, and located in the Center of Quân 1 - walking distance to the majority of HCMC sights, including Ben Thành market directly across the street. A little on the noisier side, but that was expected in the city that never seems to sleep!

Although the room is quite small, the bed is comfortable and you are supplied with all the amenities you need. Perfect location to walk to attractions. Roof top patio has great views of the financial district. Took the 109 bus from the airport to Anpha hotel that was quick and cheap.

The best location and value for your money!

Had a quick stay in Saigon, and we wanted to stay very close to the night market! This hotel delivered! A 30 second walk to the market! Clean clean clean hotel Great staff, and Richard who works the breakfast shift in the restaurant was the best! He was engaging, and very knowledgeable on other countries. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel really did it up big! The chocolate cake was outstanding! We did NOT find the hotel at all noisy! It's in a busy location, but that makes the travel experience so carbonating! Thank you! We will be back next year, and we will recommend your hotel to our traveling friends!
