Charming Florence Stay with Spacious Rooms

Corte Guelfa was a delightful surprise during our time in Florence. The rooms were much more spacious than we expected, and the unique layout—where you enter your room through a beautiful inner courtyard—made it feel far from a typical hotel stay. While there was some road construction outside during our visit, we didn’t hear a thing once inside the hotel or our room, which speaks to how quiet and peaceful the property is. The small breakfast buffet was a nice touch to start the day, and the staff was consistently pleasant and friendly. Best of all, the location was excellent—easily walkable to all of Florence’s major sights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, and the property is super clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of great options for sightseeing and enjoyment nearby. The hotel staff even recommended an easy parking spot just one minute away, which takes care of the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) entry into the city. Highly recommended!”

All the staff were amazing, Rooms were very clean. Location was close to train station, museums, a great Carousel , a huge, and excellent food court. Breakfast was fresh and delicious! In room refrigerators had complimentary snacks, water, coke and coffee. Along with fresh fruit, cookies and croissants in the lobby. Great for a little pick me up during the day or snacks for your kids. Highly recommend this hotel.

can't say enough about this quaint find! from their communication to a top notch breakfast(if you sign up),friendliness, cleanliness and roomy stay in their studio room for 2; walkable to sites in Florence; a bit "off path" so be careful at night but we felt safe...so so nice! highly recommend and would return!

This property is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and truly felt like a retreat. We stayed in two rooms: one on the main level with a bedroom and a living area with a pull-out couch, and another on the second level with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. Both spaces included a small dining area, refrigerator, stove, and sink, which made them feel like mini apartments. The location was ideal—within walking distance to most major attractions and the train station. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed breakfast on-site, and the food was excellent. As is typical in Italy, there’s no air conditioning. It was in the 60s during our visit, so it wasn’t an issue, but it could be a consideration during the hotter months. That said, I would absolutely stay here again.
