Wonderful place. Having lived in Cambodia previously we found this to be a great place to stay in PP to rest from our flights before heading out to see “family“ and friends. If we were to stay in PP for months this would also be a great place to stay long term as it is set up as a small apartment with a western feel.

It was a one-night stay, but we did get the 7thfl with a great view and I did get a chance to enjoy the rooftop pool for an hour before anyone, it was peaceful and beautiful... Only wished we could have spent more time in PP... will book again when visiting Cambodia again, the front desk was so helpful for the arrangements of our rooms.

The best family friendly hotel in Cambodia. We booked airport pick up, our flight was delayed and there was no way of contacting the resort. However, when we got outside they were waiting for us with big smiles! When we finally got to the hotel, my 3 year old was asleep and instead of checking in, they let me go to the room first to let her sleep on the bed. As an exhausted mom who was traveling on a flight for 26 hours, this was the most kindest thing a person can do. We were in Cambodia for a family vacation of 20 people, we love the hotel so much that made all of our cousins book a room. We plan to stay at the same place next year, when we visit again.

Great hotel & location.

We loved this place. It was in a local neighborhood with some fantastic small & very authentic restaurants close by. Also a local outdoor market just behind the hotel. The hotel also offers a free tuk tuk to nearby shopping centers, including a grocery store, Lucky Stores. The pool was wonderful, along with the steam room, sauna & gym. The staff was very responsive, helpful & friendly. I definitely recommend The Amata Residences!!! And the shower was fantastic!!!

Great value. New construction (2023). Huge walk-in shower. Small swimming pool but nice 270 degree city view. Incredible strength training room — all brand new equipment as of July 2023. Kitchen in unit very convenient. Free tuk-tuk transportation to several malls is a nice plus.

First of all, I want to thank the staff at the amata for keeping the place so perfectly clean, neat and pretty. I enjoyed my stay, but it would not be the best place for some family or someone who is eager to do many, many things. Although the place itself is perfect, the area around the place has little to do and is not convenient for walking or just going outside. So you have to take a a (very cheap) taxi or grab car to go almost anywhere. I will stay in a more central area next time, but if you are planning on staying long term, this would be an excellent place to be thanks again

The property was as described in the listing and well maintained. We were given the impression that there was no daily housekeeping but were pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned daily. The front desk was manned 24 hours and ever helpful even though not all of them were completely comfortable in English. Although the location was not central, we were able to get to wherever we wanted using Grab cars/tuk tuks. The nearby mall had a mid sized supermarket, several dining options and is a short walk away. The gym & infinity pool were nice facilities for a morning workout or a chilling afternoon. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would certainly return should we revisit Phnom Penh.

A great place to stay for a vacation ! Staff is friendly and could speak English. Place is clean and room is spacious. Everything you need is provided for : toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, towels, ironing board, iron, washing machine, hair dryer, etc. Just need to bring washing detergent if you plan to do some washing. Location is good too. Not far from the airport. There is a beautiful Samatha SPA nearby. Just next to Amata, there is a Temp cafe with great coffee and bread. The FunMall is less than 10 minutes walk from Amata where you can have breakfast or lunch /dinner at. There is a supermarket in FunMall too. Strongly recommended !

Good but issue with listing

Positive - very new - quiet area - great pool and gym Negative - we had bioked a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 persons and the booking confirmation stated 1 king and 1 sofa bed. However on arriving they told us that the sofa cannot be turned into a bed. Other rooms were not available. - they did not provide any dishwashing utensils, towels or liquid, no washing powder for the washing machine, not even.spare toilet paper
