Good hotel and close by to Suan Plu Market

Good location and a short walk to Suan Plu Market with great street food. The hotel offers free tuk tuks to transit which is convenient. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer was convenient.

The upstairs foyers could stand some new wallpaper or coat of paint, same with the room we had. (cleaners miss behind the bathroom doors. The staff are among the finest at any hotel I've ever stayed at, that includes Hyatt and Four Seasons. They really do their best to assist you. Most speak English well.

Nice hotel

Friendly and polite staff . Great housekeeping and provides free ride to bts saladeng. Great experience and would recommend friends and stay again in the future . The disappointing part with no apologies was I booked a tennis court to play doubles early in the morning and the court would be available 4-6pm I invited my three other friends to come play and to my surprise the court was booked with someone else’s name and my court was bumped the following day and same time . They assured it was booked and confirmed same day. No explanation and no apologies which wasted my time and my friends time coming to the courts

I would stay here again.

This hotel was close to what we needed to get done in Bangkok. Free shuttle service to MRT and a shopping center. Awesome staff. Very spacious room and comfy bed.

Very nice Hotel Residence, close to downtown.

Am used to stay in serviced Apt., and I do like Ascott and Somerset brand, where you can find good service, amenities and location which is close to everything. Somerset bkk is a very nice hotel, close to everything from pubs, to restaurants, food stalls and markets. Good service, clean room, nice swimming pool and gym.

Close to excellent restaurants and shopping.

Our accommodation was less than $80.00 per night for serviced accommodation which included a full buffet breakfast which would appeal to all needs. Our journey to Bangkok included a 15hr flight from Toronto to Hong Kong and then a 3hr flight to Bangkok which put us at the airport at approx. midnight. While there is taxi service available at the airport for the 1hr trip from the airport we chose to arrange with the hotel for a private car company to pick us up at the cost of BHT 1300 or approx. $50.00 cdn.

In need of face-lift

Great open space, sitting room, bedroom, kitchen, plus in-room laundry facility all very much appreciated. However, the room has paint stripping away and signs of water damage, of wear and tear at every corner. It looks tired and is in need of a face-lift. The tub with shower is not well designed. Water sprays all over the tub surround, it is very difficult to direct water only to the tub without flooding the surrounding area. This design is encouraging flooding situations in the bathroom. Fix it!

We stayed here as a family of four, and out of the six times we've visited Bangkok, this hotel is honestly one of our favourites. The apartment was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and having a washing machine was an added bonus. The location was ideal, with plenty of street food vendors within walking distance offering a variety of delicious Thai dishes. The pool was a great size, and even though it was incredibly hot outside, we still enjoyed playing tennis. The reception staff went above and beyond, always helpful and friendly. This hotel ticked all the boxes for us, and we will definitely return.

Somerset Park team were excellent and so helpful - always. The room service was also really good - noticeable how clean the room was each day. Gym was well equipped. Pool was very pleasant. The room was a little tired and probably time for some renovation.
