It was a cheap price and right near the beach which was perfect for what I was looking for. The manager was nice and gave us extra toiletries and fixed our ac at request. Would recommend if just looking for a place that’s close to the beach

Sent a special request through for two extra pillows and a wine opener, which was sitting waiting for us when we got there. Once again, I will say the front desk staff are very play and nice gentleman.

Good for the price

Obviously, the price is fantastic. Front check-in guys whether it be morning or afternoon are both lovely gentlemen. The beds are terribly hard as well as the couch. Definitely need more than two pillows on the bed, Needs to have for as well as an extra blanket would be nice. Although there is a kitchenette, definitely need a little bit more of the basics like a can opener. Another must is drinking water. Even if you had some at the front check-in for purchase. It’s lovely how close to the beach it is as well as some nice restaurants like El Carey. Nice little corner store close to that restaurant to pick up whatever it is you need for great prices.

Checking was fast and easy, nice and close to the beach. Pool area was also nice. Biggest problem was the plumbing. Not enough water pressure to have a shower and when our toilet plugged, I let the front desk know and he was quick to provide me with a plunger so I could unplug it myself. Turns out it was the room sewage line that was plugged.

Everthing nice...some staff friendly others not...did my laundry for free but gave them something ..pool nice...rooms very clean...it would be nice to.have friends over for dinner but im sure its not allowed...vistors allowed briefly it seems if at all

All amenities- quiet, close to the ocean

I was looking for a cheaper place in Puerto Plata with a pool and close access to the ocean (less than 1/2 block from the property). This property fit the bill. The two bedroom apartment looked exactly the same as advertised. AC in the bedrooms and large ceiling fans made the apartment comfortable. Pool and property were well maintained. Basic cooking equipment was included (don’t break anything or you will be required to pay replacement costs, even if the equipment was defective). Don’t be shy to ask for what you need - 5 gallon water jug is just 50 pesos. The few staff we interacted with were friendly. I had a vehicle so access to the supermarket and townsite was easy. The double beds were tiny for 2 adults and all 4 pillows provided for the 2 beds were skimpy, flat and terrible. Otherwise, good value for the money. I would have given 5*, except for the beds/ pillows and the attitude of the ApartHotel to pay for minor accidental damage to kitchen equipment.

wonderful apartment

Everything was amazing. The staff and owner are very friendly, the apartment is very well kept and comfortable, and the beach is a 1 minute walk away. On weekdays the beach is very relaxing with not many people there which was great. Lots of food options and a grocery store about a 10 minute walk away. The pool area is nice and has chairs for lounging and an awning that covers an area of the lounging area and a small section of the pool which is nice during the Mid day blazing sun. I would definately return.

An excellent SHORT stay

We were pleasantly surprised at this beautiful apartment! So close to the beach and little restraunts. The pool was very nice. I was so happy with the cleanliness of the entire property, the apartment was spotless. I would not recommend a long term stay because the kitchen is not very well equipt for cooking. Only two of everything. No tea towels for drying dishes, 1 pot, 1 frying pan, 2 glasses, 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 knives forks and spoons. Also only 2 towels in the shower. If your plan is to eat out for all your meals then stay here! We have stayed at a lot of different places and this is by far the cleanest! We would definately spend a week there again.

It was clean there were markets nearby. Parking was easy and it's a gated community within a gated community. The pool was clean and so was the apartment. The fridge and ceiling fan were rusted but that happens next to the ocean. They even had a coffee pot and matches for the stove so I could make coffee. It was a pleasure to stay there.
