The location was good but there was no phone in the room. The bed should have had a mattress on top of the base. It was missing. There was an issue with the air conditioniner as it was slow cooling. They do not provide assistance with the luggage. There were numerous cracks in the washroom sink.

Everything was great with our stay the only feedback that wasn’t perfect was that we were only given one FOB for the elevator. the front desk was supposed to be open 24 hours and I returned back and needed to get to my room and couldn’t because no one was at the desk to let me to my floor, I waited for over 30 minutes and there was other people waiting much longer.

Great space, noisy though.

Great location. Stunning view. Comfortable beds, bedrooms and living spaces. Earplugs recommended however as, even on the 23rd floor the single pane windows let in every clink and clank of the extensive rail system! Every single one of them.

There were stains on the carpet, the appliances are cheap, the dishwasher didn’t work, the fridge had a bunch of broken shelves, there was a constant buzzing in the room, and the shower kept going from cold to hot water. The heating is only in the living room and doesn’t heat up the entire apartment. The sheets were rough and not comfortable. The location is great, but you have to keep the blinds shut at night to keep all the downtown lights out of the apartment

Apartment hotel within the CBD area (within CBD internet is free anyway, but the hotel has its own internet). Very clean and affordable. Close to tram stop (trams are free within CBD, get the train passes from nearby 711 stores). Lot of restaurents nearby. If I go to Melbourne, I'd definitely stay here again.

Arrived late to be greeted by quite the unfriendly front desk staff...stayed the first night in utter discomfort due to the lack of a latch (removed) on the balcony door, and the balconies are easily accessible from room to room. We had to 'lock' the door with a belt for the first night... and called for a staff to come in to fix the door the next morning, but waited for close to 2 hours before anyone arrived, we ended up having to escort the staff up to our room in order to get the problem solved. Overall cleanliness of the room was sub par, carpets always sticky with lots of small pieces of rubbish laying around, clearly not vacuumed. Couch was heavily stained and moist for the remainder of our stay. There is also no lock on the restroom door!! Other than the convenient location in Melbourne's CBD, there is nothing too great about Aura... won't be returning.

Good hotel for the price

From a dirty room to a beautiful view

The room were given upon check-in at 7pm had not yet been cleaned. There was a dirty cup and spoon left on the sink, the bed wasn't made and there were towels on the floor. We went back to reception to get a different room asap as we had dinner reservations and I still had to shower and get ready. The lady at reception was shocked that our room wasn't ready and extremely apologetic. She immediately found us a clean room which ended up being on the 18th floor and larger than the original room with absolutely magnificent views of the city and Southbank. Although I was initially unimpressed and annoyed, the hotel did everything they could to rectify the situation and we had a very pleasant stay in the end.
