Great room and spacious. Hot tub was unexpected and kids loved it. Check in and check out was great and easy. Might want to add a stopper for bathroom door and maybe one more trash can for front area.

Really nice accommodations, very clean and roomy for a group of 6. Wish they had some spices and things like that available. Not that we should expect it, but it seems to be the norm nowadays if your rental is a VRBO.

I had stayed at The Preserve several years ago and loved it. I'm not sure what has changed since I last stayed there but it has gone downhill. The room had a funky odor and needed a good deep cleaning and a new shower curtain without mold on the bottom. Multiple light bulbs were burned out. The smoke/carbon monoxide detector had been REMOVED which is not a comforting feeling and I'm pretty sure illegal.

The chlorine content of the hot tub was so high that we didn’t last long in it. It was stinging our eyes and burning our throat. It even bleached my swimsuit! But other than that, I was satisfied.

The room is nice, spacious and mostly clean. There was a communication issue where I did not know this is a self-checkin lodge and I didn’t receive the key lock code from Expedia. So, I had to call the property management to get the key. The room is clean except the pillow where we found some hairs. I am not sure if they change the pillow cases? Also, they provided only shower towels but not hand towels. Other than that, I am happy with is lodge.

The bedsheets had pet hairs on them. The pillow covers had kind of small black hairs. The room heater did not work and we had to use the blower. I informed the host regarding the heater but they said they will see if maintenace can come or not. The maintenance did not arrive that day. We had to turn off the blower at night and it got cold later at night.

The preserve double booked us. They had taken our money and given is a confirmation of the cabin. After we had entered the cabin and had been there for multiple hours someone else came to the cabin. After calling the preserve they had us leave despite being there for multiple hours. This was upsetting to us thinking we had a place to stay for the nite just to be evicted at 10:30 at night. With no place to stay and they told me that I have to figure things out about getting a refund. This was very unfortunate for my wife and I as well as for the people who showed up. They handled the double booking poorly and were very unapologetic and uncaring about their mistakes.

I stayed in a Single Unit. The location and the room itself were just okay—nothing particularly good or bad. However, although multiple booking websites stated that this room type included a kitchen, I found out after arrival that this information was false. When I contacted the management, they responded that I was the first person to ask about this this year, implying that it was my fault for trusting the website information. Because I believed the listing and prepared food accordingly, I had to throw everything away. This turned what should have been a normal stay into a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
