Nice hotel but noisy

We loved the location, the staff and the hotel itself...would give it full marks except for the constant disco beat day and night from the outdoor club next door. Volume annoying most nights...had to close the sliding doors to sleep...but a wedding at the club one night was over the top loud and didn’t quit until 2 am. Sleep was not possible even with ear plugs jammed in. Talking to fellow guests in the morning we found all were as upset as we were and none had slept. Too bad because everything else about the hotel is great but we can’t recommend it unless you plan to spend each night at the club next door

Nice suites right on the beach---but

This is absolutely beautiful location right on the ocean and is ideal for walks along the beachand steep stairs for exercise. The only fly in the ointment is that it is quite a busy location.....thumping techno beat music almost 24/7 from busy gay beach club next door, taxis coming and going, garbage truck next door at 7am, end of street and public beach access right there, hotels maintenance guys know everybody and seem to chatter loudly with all their buddies, etc etc. Granted this would be less of an issue on the higher floors, but we were ground floor ....eye and ear level with all the comings and goings. I would recommend this place, but with cautions to make sure you are ok with "the area" and with the unit you are actually booking.

Nice relaxing place

My wife and I spent only one night at Vallarta Shores. They are owned condos in a nice location in front of the beach. This place is in the frienly zone, most couples are gay/lesbian couples, so if this bothers you then I would not suggest this place. For my wife and I this has never been something that bothered us so we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a one bedroom, with balcony in living area and balcony off the bedroom. It was a nice Mexican feel to the place with brick walls and nice wood frame doors. You can hear the waves crashing down all night long, very relaxing. It was a HUGE space one bedroom, with filtered water, full kitchen with all the things you need for cooking. In front was a private beach that had nice sand and good swimming connditions. It was suggested to us the next time we stay to rent one of the sky units, they have private juccuzzi's and small pool in all suites, also comes with your own private chef. So havin maybe two families sharing a 3 or 4 bedroom is affordable with a movie star experience

Great hotel, great location

We stayed at Vallarta Shores for a week and we were very happy with everything. The location is great! We had a fabulous sea view, the beach is only steps away, it was within walking distance to several great restaurants, and we wouldn't have wanted to stay in any other part of Puerto Vallarta other than Old Town, which is the prettiest and most quaint in our opinion. This is also a LGBT friendly area. Whenever you don't feel like eating out, you can always buy local produce at the Saturday market, at several grocery stores, or at the meat shop on Constitution.

Close to town canter, 25 yards to beach

Was not sure what to expect but this apartment block in which apartments were individually owned but the block run by an agency. It is about a 10 minute walk from the town center - which means you can get to just about any of the good places to eat within a 5 minute walk (La Palapa right along the beach) - 30 minute (Cafe des Artistes) walk. The walk into town is on the usual cobbled, step over the small streams in the road (i.e. quaint), but having the beach view right out off the window was great. The main problem is that right next door they are renovating an old appurtenant block and converting it into time shares, so there was sporadic noise from large equipment. Rooms were cleaned daily and having a full kitchen was useful although we never used the stove. However microwave, fridge sink etc all useful to have. One of our bathroom lights worked sporadically. Staff were all very friendly and helped whenever needed.

Hidden Gem Amazing Location

Location is amazing the ocean is steps away nice and secluded. We did have an issue with the unit above management worked hard to resolve and made it right. Would stay here again great property,well cared for and front desk folks are very accommodating.

This was an amazing experience! We randomly found this hotel while searching for a private pool in suite, and am so happy we did! Our Chef, Edwin, was the best. He cooked some of the most amazing meals ever. He always cooked with the freshest ingredients and was able to accommodate the needs of our 1 year old daughter as well. The place was cleaned daily by Isabel, who was very kind and did a great job. Zona Romantica and the Malecon are an easy walk, there's a shortcut through the beach, to nearby shops and restaurants. I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation and can't wait to go back!

We are a family of 6. We had 3 large bedrooms and bath rooms. Living area and kitchen along with our own pool and view of the beach. It was great for all of us and to be able to be together. The best thing is you had your own personal chef that would cook 2 meals a day. Our chef was friendly and was a great cook and did everything form shopping for our meals, preparing, serving and cleaning up! Does not get better than that. Overall a very nice vacation.

The place is beautiful. The chef, Raul, was kind, funny and his food was absolutely delish! We Stayed in the three bedroom Sky Suite B for my mom’s 77th. It was perfect for the four of us Gorgeous sunsets and shops are steps away, as you walk along the beach. We are already making plans to go back!
