Beautiful place to stay , breakfast is great , staff are great and room is beautiful. Lots of thing to eat and close to the ocean/walking trail. Pool was open in the winter which is nice.

Fair at best.

Recently stayed 7 nights with the wife for our 34th wedding anniversary. Overall stay 5.5 on 10. Front desk staff were friendly and accomodating, but few positive points after that. No bell hops or persons to help with luggage. Disappointed with the hotel itself. Outdated rooms with cheap cabinets and no coffee in room, very plain and unwelcoming. Kitchen sink leaked. I asked a maintenance worker to fix it (and take a look at the phone), he said to talk to front desk. Breakfast buffet was good with good service. Evening buffet for 30 euros was very underwhelming. Phone in the room, didn't work the entire stay. Pool area was from the 90s, many sun chairs were wornout and uncomfortable or were broken. The indoor pool is advertised as heated, both pools were not heated. On the web - Hotel description and pictures are deceptive. The entire property needs a big facelift. And the biggest disappointment was a 10 minute detour walk to get to the ocean, when you can get there in 1 minute, but the hotel blocked access to direct route. Would not stay here again for the money I paid.

I didn’t like that the A/C wasn’t working the whole time of our stay, it was quite hot and very unpleasant to get a good night sleep!!!!!

Very well run hotel. We enjoyed our stay: good selection for buffet breakfast, clean room and surrounding area, quiet location. Was not too far to city center and local restaurants. Extremely friendly staff. Definitely will consider this hotel next time I will visit Cascais.

Older property and needs updating for the price per night imo. 20 mins walk to downtown area but there was a small restaurant set around the corner along the cost which was convenient for night time. The pool area is small and again needs updating all around. I found the breakfast buffet was good but the dinning room was tiny and hard to navigate around people. 3 out of 5.

We were greeted warmly by Ricardo who provided an excellent orientation of the property and surroundings. We loved how spacious our room was and the size of the balcony. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety of choices and was quickly replenished. We loved that there was a nice assortment of fresh fruit. The only downside was that our bed was quite hard and the walls were very thin. We could hear everything said in the next room to ours.

Hotel is not new, but everything was in a good condition. The room was clean and bright, adorable and minimalistic. What I liked about this place? - Hot tub and indoor pool were very good. I could enjoy and relax after daylight activities. - The hotel is close to the seaside with a running route. You will definitely love your morning running routine. Places and cliffs near this place are extremely nice. - Breakfast was tasty. Huge variety of local food, fruits, home-made breads, for any kind of diet. - Parking spot. - Green and blossoming territory.

The room looked fine on the outside. But the beds were sinking in certain spots. They joined 2 twin beds to make a double. The room was renovated but the washroom looks like something out of the 1990’s. Good idea for a small kitchenette because other than some gluten free bread at breakfast, the kitchen couldn’t really accommodate for celiac (gluten free)

Very strange checkin, usually expect eye contact with the clerk means at least, "How can I help you?" but this guy wasn't doing the eye contact thing. Loudly saying. "We have a reservation" was the necessary poke. Nice room, good view from the balcony. Shuttle to/from the train station for Lisbon was much appreciated.

Great staff but under development

The staff, pool, outdoor areas and breakfast were very good. This Pestana property is under redevelopment from an old 1980style. The decor is outdated. We had several items that were broken in the room. One was repaired after informing the staff but the second remained broken. We have stayed at several Pestana properties and we are members of the Pestana group. But this hotel does not come close to their other properties. In a year or two once the redevelopment is completed it should be up to their high standards.

Breakfast was very good. Evening Buffett was too expensive. Pool, hot tub and gym close at 8 pm - too early! They didn’t open until 8 am - too late. Not good hours. Beds not very comfortable.
