Staff were great here. Room very nice. BUT 7 days a week starting at 7:30 am going till after 5 was a large construction site right next door. There was absolutely no peace and quiet from the incessant construction noise which I am sure will be going for another year. One other thing …water in front of this resort is extremely wavy and not good for anyone unless they are a strong swimmer.

Great stay! Right on the beach, very well maintained property, helpful staff. Beach walk to restaurants would absolutely return again. Construction happening next door - which isn’t pretty to look at but not problematic unless you want to be in the condo during the day.

Great hotel but only a few rooms still have a view

Staff is excellent, and hotel was lovely/modern/clean, but unfortunately they're building next door. The view is destroyed from most rooms - you're looking at (and listening to) loud, active construction (Nov 2023), and will look at a 4-story apartment in future. There are 2 buildings; building A is closer to the street; any "ocean view" is now almost entirely blocked. Building B is closer to ocean and is much better; B204 and B304 are stunning. Picture attached shows view from 3rd floor A building.

We absolutely loved our stay at ultravioleta. The unit was beautiful, beds were super comfortable and the location was perfect! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. (Many of them don’t speak much English, but even with a language barrier they were all so friendly and inviting) We loved being right on the beach and waking up to the views of the ocean every morning. It was nice having a kitchen to cook most of our food, but just a note they don’t include dish soap, oil, salt & pepper etc in the units, so you will need to buy those basics if you plan to cook. They supplied water and coffee for the first 2 nights which was nice. My only complaint about this property is that there is construction happening right next door which was very loud and disruptive. The entire building was shaking for majority of the day. My guess would be that construction will be happening for the next year! I will absolutely return to this place though! We love it. Everything was clean and felt very luxurious! Thank you for the great stay!

Wonderful

Excellent property which is very well looked after. Security onsite with super friendly courteous staff. We stayed in a 2 bdrm which was fantastic. Great quiet location- a 15-20 min walk on beach to Cabarete beach restaurants, but other choices closer. In between kite and Cabarete beach. I would have loved in suite laundry, but they will do it for you onsite. No complaints, loved our stay and would definitely return!

Beautiful super long beach. A walk to town but worth being on the quieter stretch. Great winds for kite boarding. The 2 bedroom unit was incredibly spacious with a large balcony, extra outdoor shower and modern comfortable furnishings in a beautifully finished space. Great food at the beach bar and incredibly friendly staff made for a wonderful stay.

Very private and very beautiful!

Ultravioleta was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly and ready to help with any concerns or needs we had. The grounds are very private and secure. It was beyond our expectations and loved that we were away from the crowds at an all-inclusive. The walk to Cabarete is only about 15-20 mins down the beach and we miss the morning walk now that we're no longer there.
