Sunset Vistas Two Bedroom Beachfront Suites offers 154 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature washers/dryers and DVD players. Rooms open to furnished balconies. Great spot if you’re looking for down time at the beach, steps away from the hotel/condo. Had a renovated and clean suite. The hurricane damage can still be felt around for ex the water heaters in the pool were not yet working but the hot tubs were. Overall great stay!

We had a great stay… probably the best room we could have been given. The only concern was for the hotel itself and the ongoing repairs they are having to make due to the recent hurricane. This was probably the only reason the area and rooms were not as clean as usual… not the hotel’s fault

We went to the resort about a month after the hurricane and expected the place to be in worse shape than it was. The resort is on a beautiful piece of ocean front property and would definitely come here again. It is a little out dated and our room smelled of stale cigarettes. Other than those 2 things we had a fantastic time on the beach for 2 days

The location, pool and hot-tub were wonderful. Unfortunately those were the only highlights of our stay. Our check-in was bordering on unfriendly without the usual information on wi-fi , amenities, locations of services etc. passed on. The room was dirty, and very worn, the couch was marked, we had rust and hairs in the bathrooms, dirt and dust on the air vents, items were sticky. Basic items such as a toilet roll holder was missing, We had no faith in the cleanliness of the apartment that we decided not to use the implements or cook in the kitchen which was the very reason we got the apartment. I would warn that our apartment looked nothing like the picture and without the pool and hot-tub we likely would have left the hotel.

With the exception of the night person when we checked in.. all staff were amazing. We checked in at 2:30 after a delayed flight. No warm welcome and not much info given. Disappointed to find no bedding for pull out sofa when we arrived in the room. And the cover that was on the mattress was stained. When I called to ask if I could get a luggage rack for the room he seemed unsure if those were available. One need for improvement is storage in the unit. No places to put suitcases. And bathroom storage was horrible with tiny counters. The advertised queen bed was certainly no queen. Very small. King bed was great. But now the positives! Very pretty and clean property. Very pretty grounds. Pool area and pool temperature all amazing. Beach access and beach amazing. The actual unit overall was spacious and well stocked kitchen. Even the distant side view of water was nice. Really enjoyed the balcony. Nice to have onsite cafe and beach bar. Location was fabulous. Walking to the trail and to John’s Pass were a bonus. Circle K across the street. Would definitely recommend this place!

I have photos of mould and mildew that shows this place hasn’t had a good cleaning in years! Add to that damaged cupboards and filthy closets (more photos) and a pool bar area that would be appropriate in a trailer park and you’ve got sunset vistas. Throw in the lack of bathrooms anywhere near the pool and you’ve got sunset pisstas. Avoid this overpriced dump. There are better options in the area .

Ok could be cleaner

Location was great, suite was spacious, picked up by my wife on a partly business partly vacation trip. I am accustomed to a bit cleaner rooms when I travel for business. Nothing horrific but the rooms carpets need a good wash or need to be changed. The common areas tile flooring and other areas need to be cleaned with a bit more soap. Everything felt a bit sticky/greasy within actually being dirty.

I like the proximity to the beach. I didn’t like the size of the rooms. The furniture, the sofabed was horrible, no umbrella or chairs, not enough plates and cups. It is good for 2 but not more. No room cleaning, and the floor was mobed once after 5 days during a week. Sheets and bathrooms were never serviced or cleaned.

Great location and amenities were lovely as well. We enjoyed having a cafe and tiki bar on site and the kiddie pool was a wonderful option to have for our kids. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at Sunset Vistas.
