Pro: upgraded to a larger room; small supermarket on property; on the beach; AC unit Cons: very loud construction noise in the room next door starting at 8AM and lasting all day long; they have onsite laundry facilities that cost $7.00 USD to wash per load and then $7.00 to dry in a small capacity machine!!! $28.00 USD to wash and dry 2 loads of laundry; building is pretty run down both inside and outside

A very good place to stay and a great location for the fabulous beach, albeit a 20 minute walk to the centre of Alvor. The staff at the accommodation are superb and it is very good value.

The hot tub and pool located in another building that is a 10 minute walk away. I booked this hotel expecting this to be in the building because it was a rainy weekend. I am very disappointed that the hotel offered zero support to move my reservation to the actual building of the hot tub and pool location. It is false advertising to say they have this and expect people to go to another location 5 buildings away in the rain and cold.

We had a good time at the hotel only the towels took longer to get because the cleaners were not there over the weekend,otherwise we got from the receptionist with blond hair(sorry forgot her name) very good advice regarding day excursions and assisted with reservations

The staff was so nice and friendly. We ended up staying an additional night. I'm sure there are fancier hotels but we loved the location, ease of parking, kitchenette and grocery on property. Also grateful for a lift after bringing luggage up so many stairs at other stays.

Amazing Alvor

Loved the location , minutes from the beach and the views from the room. We could hear the waves at night ! Staff were wonderful - so friendly and helpful. Pool is fab and a real bonus . Walks along the beach are stunning and Alvor is a very pretty place . Drinks and gardens at the nearby hotel were lovely too. Thank you so much
