A seasonal outdoor pool, a garden and barbecues are available at this cottage. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Great place to stay for 1 night to allow us to explore the groves of Humboldt State Park. Clean and quiet, with 2 beds for 2 old friends. The only minor quibble: the place is described online as offering a free breakfast, but when we got there we found out that this had not been the case for years. Food was easily found, however, from a nice small cafe across the street.

It was lovely. Wish we would have been able to use the fireplace outside but weather was so cold. Place is super quiet and clean. I recommend it.

The cabins are set in a grove of huge redwoods on a scenic route with a restaurant, gas station and drive through coffee kiosk. It. is the only accommodation for a very large area.

You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. So we decided to turn the heater off -- it wasn't very cold that night, but it might be a problem in lower temperature.

Room with a tree view

Beautiful setting. Room was very hot with no a/c but they did have a refreshing pool to jump into and ceiling fans. It is the most i have ever paid for a room but convenient setting for the Redwoods.

For the price, not a good option. avoid.

First - the property manager was very nice to talk to. However, the. Bedroom and bathroom were upstairs and were hot as an oven. We had to go turn on the portable AC in the bedroom. It took a couple of hours for it to cool down. Wish they had turned it on before our arrival. It was late night when we arrived and couldn’t sleep till 2am. WiFi wasn’t working.we were told it was busted. We were told we could go use it in the lobby but we didn’t try that since it was so late in the night.

Older court style separated rooms but very well maintained. Gas, grocery and dining just across the street. The landscaping was very pretty and we used the gazebo just outside the room to relax with a glass of wine after a busy travel day.
