At The Caravelle Resort, hit the beach, dine on-site at the restaurant or enjoy a drink at one of the aparthotel's 2 bars/lounges. Each apartment provides a fridge and a microwave, plus free WiFi and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. A balcony, a coffee/tea maker and a hairdryer are among the other amenities available to guests.
The Caravelle Resort offers 620 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features laptop-compatible safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies. Very close to the beach, the room was great . Hot tub was not hot , and the elevators were not working that well. But overall it was a beautiful , friendly place to stay.

Hotel close to the beach. Stayed at the Caravelle tower and the room was disgusting. Room service did not even show up once during our 4 day stay. We got a non smoking room and other rooms around us were non smoking as well but it like smoke all the time. Kids did enjoy the pool and the beach but sleeping and trying to get comfortable with some rest was very challenging.

Myrtle Beach March Break 2015

Went to Myrtle beach for March break with 2 of the grand kids aged 6 & 8. Hotel was good but they neglected to mention that due to some construction taking place on the roof, all of the main resorts outdoor pools were closed. I asked at check in about pool availability and heated or not and was told all pools were heated and accessible to me - not so. So no main pool, no outdoor hot tub and no children's water play area. Resort has 9 buildings and only 1 had an outdoor heated pool. Main tower had an indoor pool on the 7th floor but the chlorine was so bad you could only swim for a very short time.

Great hotel on the beach & golf

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days , the room had an ocean view with a lovely balcony with sitting area. The view was spectacular. I had never been to Myrtle beach and this hotel was centrally located with a great restaurant and bar . Pools and hot tub was great, however we didn't use the outdoor pool as we golfed most days, but it sure would be great for children, lazy river and water play area. Pete the hotel golf expert was so helpful with getting us tee times. He was right on with where would be the best place to golf for us. The front desk staff were so helpful in printing off directions to shopping and route home .

The pictures looked much better than the place we stayed, the check in office was elegant ... our room was run down, floors in the bathroom the corners had stuff mopped into them, the balcony door was a chore to open and close for this to be in the Golden mile of MB our room was more bronze. Plenty of towels, staff was nice, elevators were quick and parking garage conveniently located to rooms. Will find a better place in the Golden Mile area next visit.

Firstly, the room was very clean. The hotel had a lot of amenities. There was a very nice game room, pools outside that were heated. The inside pool was being renovated but it was there. There was soa services and a restaurant. The two bedroom suite was massive. The kitchen looked updated and the room was beautiful. The bathroom was a little small but that was a minor thing. The staff was incredibly nice (shout out to Travis). Overall, I would and plan to stay again.

Shockingly a Great resort

We have stayed here a total of 6 tines now. This time was off season but was still nice enough outside. The property is very dated as far as looks. We ALWAYS book the oceanfront double. The rooms are surprisingly nice and always super clean and the view is perfect. The elevators are never all fully functioning, so have patience. Its just an elevator,there are more than 1! It definitely needs updated esthetically but i truly love this extremely affordable resort. You wont be disappointed. Just dont have 5 star expectations and youll love this place.

three buildings, choose wisely

I’ve been here twice, once as a guest of a friend and this time with family. On the reservation selection there will be three location, caravelle resort, caravelle tower and St Clermente. Pay attention which one you select, the resort is a nicer building, good wifi, and cleaner room. St Clemente was the lower class building, everything is smaller and no wifi (they say there is wifi but it doesn’t connect). Besides that, both buildings are in great locations with amazing views of the beach. MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE RIGHT BUILDING.

This place is bad. When we arrived the toilet was running,it took 2 hours for someone to come and still did not fix it. There was hair in the sink. Let's not forget the ROACHES. I killed a total of 4. I do not recommend!

The room was dirty, we had a lick on the room, the floor was full of water, the utensil from the kitchen were dirty, we were very disappointed. The room Needs to be cleaned and update.

The who place smells like old mold. The indoor pool, sun deck, and hot tubs were all closed and we were not advised on check in. Also they asked for more money on check in for parking even though it stated it was free. They also asked for a retainer fee in case we break something. The bathroom door had water damage and did not work. The halls on every floor including the pools smelled of urine and mold.
