Friendly Receptions

The reception was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there as part of our trip in southern Spain. We arrived before 4:30pm and spent some time at their resturant while waiting for check-in. The breakfast buffet and flamingo dinner were good. Our appartment are roomy and comfortable. We booked day trip to Ronda and transfer to the airport with the hotel, the service was great. It only took about 5mins walk to the beach, we spent sometimes walking on the beach before dinner. A relax holiday.

Close to beach nice pools

Great hotel we got a great apartment with kitchen. It is a great location near the beach with shopping near by and restaurants. Supermarkets near by as well. It is a quiet location. Toiletries are provided and so are all dishes.

The place was nice, nothing special. One issue was getting decent wifi. It was non existent unless you wanted to pay extra, that shouldn't be happening nowadays, especially in a resort like that.

Family hotel apartment

Suitable for families. Rooms are large with two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry machine, dishes. 11 km away from Marbella and city actions. Wifi in the room only works in one device at a time. You need to have a car to enjoy seeing all attraction in Marbella and sorounding.

Lovely hotel outside of Marbella...

This hotel is located between Fuengirola and Marbella....a 15 to 20 minute taxi drive from the bus station of Marbella. However, it is easy to take local buses to visit either town. Can walk to the beach and to lots of restaurants from it. 2 grocery stores nearby too. Nice to have a kitchen and washing machine. When we left, we were able to take the local bus to Fuengirola, and another bus to Malaga, so taxi fees were avoided. A very pretty hotel and grounds....nice warm indoor pool, and great outdoor pools. Nice breakfast. Nice sunny coffee bar. We enjoyed it! Has a Spanish flavour!

Very Nice

Lovely facilities, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to assist. Although it is located directly off the highway exit, there isn't much around other than a few restaurants (excellent & reasonably priced) and so it is really necessary to have a car.

Upgrade Con! Not worth a penny!!!

The front desk staff were all nice and friendly except one woman on a power trip! Someone else stepped in and corrected the issue I had. Which only proved the original woman had lied to us. We had paid for the room through expedia, so when I asked if we could have a different room NOT facing a chainlink and barbed wire fence, freeway, and Dumpster. She told us they were FULL, and could not accommidate us unless we were willing to upgrade to a more expensive suite for more money. It was a CON to get us to upgrade nothing more!!! I told her it was unacceptable since we did not feel safe and the doors and windows were not secure. The hotel was almost EMPTY as it was not tourist season yet. I took matters into my own hands and called expedia to fix the issue and another staff member quickly opened up a room for us facing the inside courtyard of the hotel. They had to get lawn chairs and a table from storage and wash it because the room had been closed up for the winter months. It was much better than looking at barbed wire, a freeway and dumpster. The windows and doors were still not secure, however we never left anything of value lying around. We would NEVER stay there again.

Great Place to stay!

Great place to stay! Very good service. Anything we needed, we got right away. The front desk spoke various languages. Close to a lot of restaurants and groceries. Only 10 minute cab ride to most shopping. Beautiful grounds and pools, well kept. Clean and safe. The appartments were very spacious and also clean. 5 minute walk to the beach. We would recomend Alanda to all age groups. Families, couples, groups and so on. Quiet , relaxing. Will return! Thank You

Good property. The room was very spacious and comfortable! The terrace was very big, and the bed was very comfy. Furniture is a little aged but absolutely fine. Indoor pool was great, and staff nice and helpful!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem am Empfang. Der Service war gut, das Apartment war groß und hell, aber es roch komisch, irgendwie modrig, nach Keller, obwohl es im ersten Stock war. Das Bett war leider zu weich, bzw. die Matratze durchgelegen. Die Situation beim Essen war gewöhnungsbedürftig: oft waren Spatzen im Raum, die sich von Buffet bedienen wollten. Die benutzen Tische wurden lang nicht aufgeräumt. An manchen Tischen war Besteck da, an machen nicht. Die Tische wurden nicht gut geputzt. Das Essen war oft ohne Geschmack und durchgekocht. Grillfleisch und -Fisch waren allerdings frisch und sehr gut. Insgesamt hätte ich etwa mehr von 4 Sterne Hotel erwartet, aber das Personal am Empfang war außergewöhnlich nett und hilfsbereit. Großes Lob dafür.

Lage ideal, Zimmerrenovation notwendig

Appartement schon etwas sehr alt. Aber alles da, soweit funktionstüchtig. Einmal pro Woche wird gereinigt. Ganze Anlage sehr weitläufig. Ist man weit von Frühstück und Reception entfernt, ist man dafür nahe bei Strand und Meer. Sehr gute Lage, viele gute Restaurants in der Nähe.

Staff were all very nice however the 3 bed apartment we were given looked nothing like the 3 bed apartment on their website, when we asked why we were told they only had one that had been modernised, so in our view this was very misleading. The apartment was tired and in need of some work, the outside pool had cracked and broken tiles, the inside pool the same, the water in both pools we used was in our view a little cloudy, however we did not have any issues so assume it was just the chemicals used. The outside toilet had a broken door that you could not lock, we stopped for 4 nights, still broken when we left. Food was fine, prices were not too bad for both, entertainment was pretty good and again the staff involved were nice and friendly and good with keeping the kids amused. Location pretty good, quite a few restaurants and sho-s not too far away, beach only a short walk away too. Car parking was good although for what we were charged paying €20 a day on top was a bit cheeky we think.
