The hotel is somewhat dated with visible patch repairs. The main issue with the property was cleanliness. Although housekeeping was supposed to be provided each day all this involved was a knock on the door to ask if we needed anything. Our room was not tidied or cleaned once during the course of our three night stay. The cleanliness of the common spaces also left a lot to be desired. The hallway leading to our room did not look like it had been cleaned/vacuumed in weeks. Overall the level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

We stayed here about 20 years ago. Returned for nostalgic reasons and proximity to Tanglewood and other attractions. Warmest swimming pool water I have ever experienced.

Hard to find because of hotel name

We were not told the hotel is called Country Inn so we blundered around the hotel layout is a nightmare when you are bogged down with suitcases the hotel air is smelly and a put off because of old decrepit carpets- we suggest that these need to be removed! some staff have no idea how to give proper directions- did not offer to print out a map when the inquiry was made the breakfast place is a dark and dingy tavern with smelly carpets. In all, highly overpriced for what it offers.

We will plan to return

We had a great experience. The staff went above & beyond. Our check in was quick & easy. We informed the gentleman that another family will be joining us in the 3-bdrm condo and to expect them. He greeted them warmly & expectedly. Later in our stay he graciously accommodated our curiosity and happily let us look at other types of accommodation on the property that we might consider for our next stay. Yes we will definitely plan to return. The townhouse-like condo had enough room for 10 people. It was clean and spacious with all the appliances of a home and the amenities of a hotel room. It was perfect with kids all upstairs and parents downstairs. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of our nieces dropped her ski pole at night while on the ski lift. The next day, once we were able to spot it, a staff member promptly retrieved the item. Another niece attended the ski school-her parents were very happy with her experience. There are lots of options for food-expensive of course, but that is expected in any resort experience. There was lots going on for the St. Patrick's Day weekend. It was quite entertaining!

Excellent off season destination

We visited this location in off peak time of year, finding the atmosphere friendly, relaxed, and the room and restaurant both excellent. The Brewers Dinner is definitely something to try if you are visiting on a Friday or Saturday night.

Nice mountain resort in the Bershires.

This was a very nice spot for a couple of days. Stayed in a one bedroom suite which was which was tidy and clean. Furniture could have used some updating, but for the price we were pleased with the accomodation. We would recommend this place..

Great for families

We spend a lot of time in Williamstown, which doesn't have a lot of good hotel options. Jiminy Peak is a bit of a drive - 15 to 20 minutes, but well worth it. The separate bedroom and living room make it easy to put small children to bed and then sit in the living room. The kitchen was convenient for bringing in meals rather than trying to take little kids to restaurants. We'll definitely be staying at Jiminy Peak for future trips.

It’s challenging to read the reviews and know what to expect for this hotel. One main reason for that is because each unit is owned by different owners. Some units may have been renovated more recently than other units. I booked 3 rooms. One unit had an old electric stove with coils while the other had a newer electric stove. 1 had a toaster oven while the others did not. We brought food to cook, but kept it simple because we didn’t know what cooking pots and utensils would be available. One family member brought steaks, but the units we were in didn’t have an oven, so they had to cook on in a pan on the stove. There may be a grill outside, but it was too cold for that. The location of the rooms are great, a short walk to the main express lift and can ski back to the room. Each room includes lockers where you can store your ski equipment. The rooms were okay, they’re clean and decent sized. The kitchen had everything we needed. Small refrigerator, microwave, and a dishwasher. As far as cookware and settings, a set of pots and pans, plates, eating and cooking utensils. Overall, the property and rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. We would most likely stay here again as it’s very convenient. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a fairly priced, ski in and ski out hotel.

We had an excellent stay at Jiminy peak during the Fright nights. The mountain coaster was a blast and we loved riding the gondola up to the top of the mountain to see the leaves! We will be back next year. Our only small complaint was that our room was right next to the line for the ticket booth and the teenagers were pretty loud into the late night waiting to be spooked. It might be a good idea next year to plan for long lines of people and cone off the area to snake the line a bit better. Otherwise this was an excellent and fun trip.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is a little run down, but it was clean. A lot was closed (ie. on site bar/restaurants) due to it being between seasons, which was disappointing. We used the hot tub, which was not very hot. We'd stay there again though.

We stayed overnight for 1 night in a suite. Very clean & comfortable. It would be perfect if you were staying a week - furnished kitchen, plates, silverware, pots & pans, dishwasher. Comfortable couch & chair & counter & chairs for eating at. Hot tub & pool were available, but we forgot our bathing suits. We had hiked Mt Greylock during the day and really could have used a hot tub soak! The staff were friendly & informative. We were there during the 3rd week of Oct - in between seasons, so no restaurants at the resort were open for food & drink, but the staff had local recommendations, which were fine. There is a Country Store on the property that offers take out food too. All in all a nice stay & would highly recommend.
