This place is well located - 5 minutes walk to the old town. The staff and friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the big draw for us was the laundry facility. The rooms are a bit oddly laid out, and there's scarcely any room to step out beside the bed.But overall I'd recommend it and we'd go back.

We had a great one night stay at Aparthotel Adagio Aix en Provence. The location was easily walkable to old town and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was really welcoming and accomodating. Would recommend this as a great option in Aix en Provence for location, comfort and value.

This must be the quietest area in central Aix. And we enjoyed the convenience of a five minute walk to the centre and three minutes to the nearest supermarket. And everything else, including museums, in short walks. The heat in Aix in mid June was even more than usual, but a/c worked except that we were on the top floor so it was a struggle. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

This was an excellent choice of hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful, facility is clean, new, and rooms a spacious and comes with a kitchen. Wifi was fast. Great location too, walking distance to everything, yet removed enough from town center that it's quiet at night. It's an "aparthotel" which means it's basically half hotel-half apartment, so housekeeping only comes in once a week, which is fine. The "double bed" we got are actually two singles pushed together, FYI. Tip: When in France, always stay at an "aparthotel" rather than just a hotel because you will get a much bigger room AND a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen comes in handy when you buy goodies from the farmer's market (cheese, rotisserie chicken, spread, bread...so many good things), so you can bring it back to the hotel and have a little feast.

Excellent aprthotel located in the old city. Many nearby locations including restaurants, bistros, cafes, museums, shopping, boulageires, etc. Grocery store within 100 m to stock up on food. Well equipped kitchen with utensils, china etc. They offer a breakfast but we chose to eat in. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Also within walking distance to intercity bus which you can take to other cities such as Marseille, Avignon. Bus system is well organized, cheap and easy to navigate. This was our second stay at Adagio and will definitely return.

The location is excellent! quiet yet, close to the centre, a grocery store,, two patisseries I would say a couple of the front desk staff were less that friendly. Upon our check in , she was wonderful....another at check out, rude. A lovely garden area to relax in the sun or enjoy a snack. Laundry on site and parking (tricky to manouvre but on site for $10 per night. This was our 3rd stay over many years. The property has been nicely updated; great wifi , very comfortable bed/pillows and a well stocked kitchen. We stayed in apartment 123 (with a balcony). The offer for fresh towels should include dish cloth/towel, bath mat & more toilet paper.

Nice modern hotel

We have been traveling through Italy and France from Canada. We love traditional surroundings, however occasionally miss some of the modern amenities we are accustomed to. This hotel reminded us of home. The lobby was spacious, as well as the room. The staff were friendly and pass cards were required for parking and foot entry into the building for extra security.

Poor customer experience

Upon arrival the AC in our room was not working. We were told that there was no technician to come fix it, and there were no alternative rooms available. No effort was done to mitigate the issue. If fact we were reminded what time checkout was! Very poor service over all. As for the room. It was not as discribed, so I would suggest to call and confirm what you need. The room was also very small. It was nice to have a full kitchen, but was not a requirement for us.

Nice kitchen apartment units!!

Good location just minutes walk to the heart of Aix. The parkade is a little tight to get in and out so be careful. Good service, rooms and comfortable almost full size kitchen apartments that are nice for cooking your own lunch and breakfast. Free wifi but our parking and breakfast was not included. Enjoyed the stay!
