This was a great home base for our family of 4 while we were in Kyoto. Not super luxurious, but clean, comfortable and very convenient. Located right in Gion. There is a FamilyMart next door and the subway station is just 4 blocks away. The hallway carpets could use some stain treatment, but other than that it was a great place to stay.

Loved the family suite. It was perfect for my husband, myself, 2 kids, and brother who were traveling. Plenty of room. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a plus, and I was able to catch up on laundry since it was the middle of our trip. Unit stayed cool with air conditioner, which was nice due to the heat in July. We arrived before check in and were able to store our luggage in their luggage room for no additional cost. It was close to an amazing coffee place as well and a family mart right next to it.

Onsite self laundry and private onsen were nice. Rooms were spacious and having a kitchen was useful for our family. Great location to walk all over Gion and easy access to Sanjo train station. Hotel was renovated recently and very clean. Luggage storage and free umbrella use were nice added amentities.

Our room was spacious and we had 4 tatami style beds that felt like we were really in Japan:) very clean bathrooms. It was next to Family Mart where we bought bfast items among others as the property didnt have its own resto. It was about 12min by foot to the river/Pontocho Alley, and about 15min to Nishiki Mrket. It was hot but the stroll was ok since we enjoyed Kyoto street charm. Proce of hotel was very reasonable. We used the laundry once - this could’ve been better, but no biggie.

Nice apartment style hotel in Gion. Has a room with 2 super single beds and a tatami area for futons. The bath room has a washing machine dryer, which spin dry all the clothes by the time you wake up, no coins no queue. Family mart is just beside this hotel. Plenty of parking lots around.

The property was very good and located in the Gion district, which made it walkable to many of the most beautiful areas, including Gion and nearby shrines. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. Having a laundry facility downstairs and a FamilyMart right under the hotel was very convenient. The only thing I would recommend improving is the check-in system. It was a little tricky to figure out unless someone from the front desk helped, which they kindly did for us. Other than that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.
