Very nice place to stay, beautiful rooftop and pool. The room is very spacious. Service is good as well. Overall it’s a great experience. To be noted, it’s an apartment style hotel and there is construction ongoing in the area but master bedroom is pretty quiet. The bed sheet can be cleaner since I saw a stain there.

Gorgeous building and pool area. The prettiest I’ve ever seen! Our one bedroom two bath condo was incredible. Very modern. Elevators were very confusing, especially to get to the pool. Our sliding door to the pool elevator would not lock properly. The pool was not heated while we were there which is fine if you just want to enjoy the sun and the bar on the rooftop. The building entrance is just feet away from the highway which can be dangerous. It’s very loud from the room as well. Not the most friendly or helpful people at the front desk. They just ignore you as they’re watching very loud videos on their phones. This resort has so much potential but it’s not quite there yet. Looks like luxury but does not feel like it.

We had some challenges upon check-in, the patio table was broken and the pieces had just been shoved into the planter. The sliding door in the main bedroom that opens info the main hallway was difficult to lock and unlock, they were aware of the issues but made very little attempt to fix them. The sliding door onto the main patio over looking the city and ocean is not sound proof and doesn't block any sound from the street. You're right next to the main road so there was traffic noise at all hours of the day and night. Even being on the 8th floor you could still here everything, as if you were on the ground floor. Overall I wouldn't go back to Maxwell Soho, the unit we were in was pretty but had issues, the roof top pool are is nice but water is freezing and you're not allowed to bring your own water bottles. It's definitely not a luxury resort, at least that wasn't our experience.

Absolutely perfect vacation. The hotel was immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very safe, appreciated the extra steps to keep access to our floors/rooms limited. Check-in/checkout was easy. Having the option to stock our fridge before arrival was a bonus. View from the room was only surpassed by the pool.

My friends and I had an excellent stay during our quick weekend trip. We arranged for an airport pickup and they provided water and beer for our ride. (Tip: the driver is all the way outside the airport—do not fall for the transportation options just past customs!) Our room was beautiful and stocked with plenty of bottled and sparkling water for our stay. The pool is STUNNING and warm! We were allowed to have two additional friends visit and we all enjoyed the food, cocktails and excellent service. I’ll absolutely stay at Maxwell again. Love and Hate

The residence was beautiful! The rooftop pool was amazing! The negatives are the confusing elevator system and we could not enter our unit because the code wouldn’t work even after security tried to help, so we had to enter through bedroom sliding doors. The glass sliders in the main living area block out zero noise and it located on a 24/7 very busy street down the street from the hospital, so lots of ambulances. Also, there are no sidewalks on this busy street in front of the building, so you have to take a back staircase and go through a very skeptical area which is not comforting.
