It was a very basic cabin, with old amenities that need to be updated. It slept 6 but only had a dining table with 4 chairs. It also had a number of dead moths lying around the cabin. The main bed springs squeaked every time one person moved, making sleeping difficult.

A well-run place. Everything was ready for me when I arrived. Map (it’s big) provided. The pool was very welcome on a hot day. The cabin had no toilet/shower. I was 50m from the amenities block which was adequately clean but not fantastic. Capricorn is 5 km from the centre of town and there is nothing within walking distance of interest to tourists. It suited my purpose very well as an overnight stop on a road trip.
