Old world charm with modern comforts. Highly recommended, staff where responsive and super friendly. I enjoyed the open brick fireplace every night during my stay. The massive spa was the cherry on top, and I'm looking forward to visiting again

The property had the most amazing, lush gardens with gorgeous chickens to play with. It felt like a little fairy grotto. Really nice to wake up in the morning and see the tree ferns out the window.

Perfect Retreat

All comforts, pretty surroundings and very quiet. Ye olde world atmosphere but with ducted heating; a pleasant surprise. Walking distance to Olinda shops.

Lovely little cottage in the woods

Had a wonderful time. The courage we stayed in was small but had everything we needed and a wonderful view. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a few days away

Beautiful cottage

Felt very much at home in this beautiful cottage. Was made very welcome by Brett, who came by to see us as we arrived (and told us he built most of the additions to the cottage!). We loved the fireplace. Breakfast was well provisioned and it was fun cooking on the Kooka! One more thing that needs to be mentioned is the thought out into the art in the cottage. A combination of Mattise reproduction and some original artwork in every room added to the charm and energy of the place. Lovely to wake up to in the morning!

The cottage is charming and private, with its own carport. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast essentials but if you felt like eating out the shops were only a 10min walk away.

A step back in time

Entering Como Garden Cottage was like stepping back in time. Everywhere we looked there were authentic gems from the past: the Kookaburra stove, Kelvinator fridge, cast iron bath and four poster bed. The cottage was warm, comfortable and inviting. The garden was beautiful, filled with more of Brett's treasures as well as a couple of gorgeous hens that wandered the garden. We loved it!

Easy access to all Olinda has to offer

A lovely place to stay in the heart of Olinda. We loved cooking up our supplied breakfast in the beautiful 1930's stove.

A pleasant step into the 50's

The Garden cottage. The fittings are generally from the 50's, including a gas stove, tap fittings and bathroom. It is comfortable, with a leather lounge, and 4 poster iron bed. The bathroom/on suite is small though, only one person can fit comfortably at a time, but unless you are pressed for time, this is not a big problem. there is both central heating, and an open fire for the winter. We found the bed quite comfortable, rating it as a 7 out of ten against all the beds we have slept in including our own. The gardens are delightful. The major test is would we stay again? Yes.
