Loved the location. Loved the wild life. Walks were great. Accommodations were simplistic and need better sound proofing between rooms. Taps dripped . Staff was friendly and very informative. Had a great stay!

Great choice

Enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and satisfactory - matching the advertised property pictures - ie it’s a bit dated, but everything was clean and in working condition - and the price was good. The location is great, and we saw many platypus within 15 min walk along the Broken River. We ordered one meal (only takeout was available) from the kitchen and it was pretty average. A really nice lady runs the place and she was very helpful.

Break from the world

We koved the location and the peacefulness of the place. The cabins are rustic but have all the amenities you need. The porch with a patio set to enjoy your morning coffee or evening meal is wonderful. The wildlife and walks in the area are really good. The internet didn't work in the cabins but you could use it by the office. We thought it was wonderful to have a break from the world.

The outdoor setting was lovely and refreshing. It was right next to the river where we saw many platypuses and very close to the national park trails where we enjoyed walking. The guided tours at night and during the day that were included were very enjoyable and informative. The cabins were rustic and well-used but it was quiet and restful. The cabin that our friends were first checked into had a problem with ants but the owners quickly had them moved into a different unit. The meals at the lodge's restaurant, that you had to sign up for in advance, were excellent!

Great resort and place to see platypus.

Jenny and Chris were extremely helpful during our stay. The office was kept open for us when we called to say we would be late checking in and many other useful suggestions were made by both of them. We loved the resort and its proximity to the platypus viewing areas. We saw at least one platypus each time we looked. We enjoyed the hikes and appreciated a ride to the start of the hike which allowed us to complete one of them and have our car waiting for us at the end. The views at the end were lovely, and we enjoyed the walks in spite of some remaining damage from the cyclone. Dinner was very good and the open fireplace, possum feedings and snake visit were great

Wendy and the entire team were lovely and took very good care of us during our stay. Dinner cooked by Chef Joe was delicious, served in a beautiful woodland style restaurant area. The perfect place to enjoy a meal after getting to see 3-4 platypus for the first time! Thankyou very much to Wendy, Joe and the Team for a lovely stay!

Good hotel to see the platypus and rainforest, very clean and good room facilities (fridge, microwave, toaster, sink etc). Staff very nice and helpful although reception only open until 5pm which is a bit early to close! Food only takeaway and only at 6pm and not good for vegetarian. Overall good stay :)

The best place to stay if you want to see platypuses in the wild. It was an amazing experience. The key to multiple sightings was being still and quiet!

The area is beautiful and the National park is well signed. The cabin was chilly but there was an electric radiator. No food available from the restaurant but food could be ordered by 4pm to be collected at 6pm. The meals were very good.

In dem sehr feuchten Klima ergab sich ein unangenehmer Geruch im Zimmer. Keine Klimaanlage. Bis auf Tiergeräusche war es nachts sehr ruhig. Das Essen entsprach leider nicht den ehemals guten Bewertungen.

Quiet and peaceful stay in the mountains. Short walk to view platypus and turtles. Short drive from the chalet for dinner and eden hills cafe for a nice coffee or lunch. Room was clean and cosy with electric frypan, jug, toaster and microwave.
